I have an idea of making a Furioso Dreadnought with a Sanguinary Guard theme. Using a venerable body and painting it gold is as far as I got with it. I'm looking for creative and interesting ideas to make it pop. Any help would be appreciated.

You thinking of bustinga gold with decked out wings sanguinary guard dread? I think the idea is awesome and could work pretty well esepcially for the idea of furiosos. because deathcompany dreads are av 12, furiosos being 13 matches the resilience of the SG squad itself.

I think it could be great, in fact i might do that myself.

Don't forget some abs on the kneecaps.

Use a sang guard deathmasks as the head.

Maybe using the abdomen from a sang guard torso as the "abdomen" of the dread could work.

Make a big sword similar to the sang guard power weapons for it.

Make the right arm of the dread an actual arm similar to the left arm, you could use the iron clad or the furioso arm for this, and mount a multimelta or TL-HB on the back of the hand similar to the sang guards guns.

Put a set of the wings on the back of the arms or next to the exhaust stacks and have them stick out back instead of coming out the sides.

Put the sang guard banner on the top of the dread

I wouldnt over do the converting, it may end up looking kinda gotti... I would do mos of the work with the paintjob.
