I just got my new gamecon367 headset today and to my dismay I found out that it has no sound at all.

my previous headset was a usb design, could this effect the 2 jacks?

I really need help :(

So hang on - is this new headset the two jack sort? Ie. one jack for mic, one for headphones?

Firstly, and its obvious, but check the jacks are plugged into the right socket.

Secondly, go into Control Panel and check whether the output is set to the headphones jack. Some of these things need to be set manually as opposed to a USB headset which the PC detects has been plugged in and so alters the settings accordingly.
