We need someplace to blow off steam that will not eat up the other Forums. I belong to 2-3 other sights that have them and they work great.
Just make the Rules Simple
• No “Bad Language”
• No Personal Attacks
• Try to keep it to 2-3 new threads a week.

It's called turn off the computer and go outside.

There are some people who this is there only outlet. We need a place to put our emotional outburst from someone pushing our “Buttons” other than the tread we were in the middle of with the emotional out burst.

For example:

I posted a List.
• I was asking about Combi-Weapons and what I should use.
• I put Combi-Weapons with all of my Sergeants like everyone keep suggesting.
• I gave them all Power Weapons because in my current Meta if I don’t have them the other marine does so while he is killing 2-3 of my maries automatically I am bouncing off his 3+ save.
• I posted my entire list because if I don’t I get “We need to see your List!”
• Now with the posting of the list I get input on everything, but what I was wanting.

I just posted something that could be taken wrong because I had no other place to post it.

So then ask them what they think about the Combi-Weapons and try to direct the thread in the intended direction?

We don't need a new forum. I really don't think we need one that has the sole reason for existance to be whining, there's enough of that on the others already

True, but I you looked and saw that it was from the Rant Forum, you could stay clear of it.

what other sites do you visit which have them?

I do not see it as working here and would sooner people did it on other sites tbh.

The vast majority are based on that, yes.

As for the actual topic, I can see why a Furry site might need a nice drama fountain that is a rants forum ( Which they are if you have ever encountered one ) but I think Dakka could do without. I would hope the vast majority of our posters can actually deal with petty real life issues without needing a specific forum to spam them in, then raging when someone disagrees in any way.

There are many, many free blogging sites out there on the internet.

If you feel the need to vent about life and/or talk about things that aren't really appropriate here on Dakka we recommend you go out and start a blog. You can then post a link to that blog in your sig here on Dakka, and that way people can go and read it if they're interested.

A furry is a image where 2 animals with human like characteristics, well,

I thought that the sexually-minded furries were known as "yiffers" and that their interests were deemed irregular by other furries. Lumping them all together is a bit unfair, yes?

I'm going to lock this now as it is way OT. We have had 600 people come to dakka looking for Furries according to google's search analytics. Better shut things down before it gets out of hand
