Less purple and blue. Or tone them down.; Other that that, you paint better than I do!

Typhus and your Obliterator look great. I agree with chowder, perhaps tone down the purples and blues to a more dirty color and blend a bit. Will be looking forward to more of your work.

Thanks for the positive feedback AZ2612, i was just wondering if you could be a little more specific on what you mean by "tone down the purples and blues" and how would i do that?

I would personally use a light wash of Asurmen Blue around where the blue meets the purple, then just water down some of the purple and brush it around some of the blue as well. This will darken and make the blue seem to blend into the purple, looking a bit like a bruise or decay. Hopefully this helps

Thanks for the help, just a quick question, which mini were you refering to? i ask this because, well, i cannot see any places where blue meets purple...perhaps you could point them out to me?

Mostly to the Plague Bearer, and any units you might use this scheme in the future. The guts are a light purple which could be darkened a bit and around the wound where there is blood with the blue skin. Darken the red and blue around the edges and have the blue get a bit lighter as it reaches the top of the model. Not only will this help with shadowing, but it also makes the colors richer and the blood look like it has stained the skin and has been there for a while.

I'm usually fond of purple minis, but for some reason the bone & light green scheme of Typhus is the one that appeals the most to me!!!
