I got these new models that I want to try to use in my next
Apoc game. Let me know what you guys think. Basically, they are Gargantuan Creatures with the base statline (with slight modifications depending on the god):
Baseline Stat: WS7 BS3 S8 T7 W6 I5 A5 Ld10 4++
Inv
Unit: 1 Abomination
Type: Gargantuan Creature
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 4 Abominations of Chaos
These monsters are creatures of pure destruction and carnage. They exist purely to spread more chaos throughout the multi-verse. Little is known about them or their origins, except that there is an avatar for each of the 4 Gods of Chaos. Why they were created, no one knows. Librarians have speculated that the Chaos Gods are highly competitive and paranoid in nature. When one abomination was created, the other 3 gods must have consequently created their own abominations lest they find themselves at a disadvantage in the never-ending war between the chaos gods. With the exception of the Daemon Lords, the Abominations thwarf all other daemons, greater or lesser, in size and power.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Abominations may be used either with the Chaos Daemons codex or the Chaos Space Marines codex. If used with Chaos Daemons, they have the following Special Rule:
Daemonic Assault: Abominations enter play using the Daemonic Assault rules found in the Chaos Daemons codex.
If used in a Chaos Space Marine army, they have the following special rule:
Possession: An Abomination must possess another model to enter the battlefield. See the rules for Summoning Daemons from the Chaos Space Marine codex.
In addition, all Abominations have the following Special Rules:
Agile: Abominations are extremely fast and agile adversaries. In the Shooting Phase, it may choose to either:
- Fire more than 1 gun.
- Fire only 1 gun and move an extra
D6".
- Fire no weapons and move an extra
2D6".
The Abomination may assault after running (as per Fleet).
Fearsome: An Abomination is terrifying to look at and fills his foes with an unnatural dread. If an enemy unit has to take a Morale check after losing a close combat with the Abomination, they must do so at -1 Leadership.
