Dakka has some amazing miniature painters in it's midst and I often browse for hours looking at some truly amazing mini's some are just wow I could never do that! and some just inspire me to get my brushes out again, I have a couple of artists I really find inspiring and love their work, I was wondering who you guys thought was great and kept your eyes peeled for some great mini's from them?
some of my personal favorites are:

*Pyriel: has the best salamanders army i've seen to date!
*RAFF: just amazing terminator models and conversions
*Littleboyblues: Freehand king! has so many ideas and awesome tanks
*Grey_death: so clean, great looking work!
*SonsofOrar: the boy is a genius, check out his landraiders now!
*Terraformer: terrain master, makes you feel like you are in 40k!

I know there are more i'm in awe of but i'm at work so i can't browse my pics :-( but I want to know who else out there finds looking at someone elses work can make them reach new heights and who do you respect on dakka in the world of mini painting?

And I also think Bullyboy76 deserves a large mention here as well, I just saw some more of his works and conversions paired with a beautiful paintjob and am gobsmacked big time, can't wait to see more fantastic stuff from him! make sure you check these guys out!

Oooohh, his name escapes me at the moment, but he's the one who does the amazing tau vehicles, the ones with the nebulae and supernova. Those are just beyond amazing! The black and red one with the nebula is a legitimate work of art!

I find people are either spray painters or hand painters. The real masters do both. Unfortunately im not one of those. :(

Dont really check out dakka painters anymore. Always go to CMON.com.

Not necessarily. Regular UK GD winner Jakob Nielson (http://www.jrn-works.dk/) for example doesn't use air paints. But yeh too many do.

btw shouldn't this be in a different section. I mean, Dogma posting in a thread about wargaming wtf is that about?

I almost always agree with Albatross, I can't see why anyone wouldn't.

Okay, so the male version of "Cougar" is now officially "Albatross".
