Hi guys,
Finally got a lick of paint on one of the casts of my Mincemeat Van Gork! :p
Don't be too harsh on the job as I was tearing along with him due to the excitement of painting up my first mini. I was too busy having fun to care tbh, though I will likely revisit him and smooth out the blends a bit more when I can find the time.
Hope you like.

Heh, nice. You should make a 26 scale mini out of him.

That's brilliant, great skin tone but maybe the tongue could do with a better contrasting colour? Still better than any of my efforts at painting.

heheh Cheers guys.
One of his ears has had the end of it mangled off, but it's not very clear from this pic tbh.
His head is about 40mm from chin to scalp, and i've cast up a few for some peeps on another forum. Will be doing some more if anyone is interested?
I like the idea of using a bastardised Van Gogh backdrop too. Cheers! I'll have a rummage later methinks...

Well, that one plummeted like a stone troll with lead boots on!
Should've done a Spesh Mahreen... :p
Due to the great response I've had for early orders (not here though! ), I will be doing some more parody busts with a veiw to getting a nice range fpor the collecter, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for pseudo real-world fantasy O&G's?
Next up will probably be Sherlork, complete with a fetching deerstalker hat. It's all about the hat, baby!

Gobbo Bonaparte sounds fun. His iconic hat is definitley where it's at.
Einstien hasn't really got any suitable distinguishing features though, and a Gaga one would be just so surreal. I can imagine a nice colourful wig would really set off the features well.

Now these are hats that any self respecting greenskin would be proud of...
I think Abe's facial hair would look awesome! Especially if it looked like a glued-on fakie one.

You need a military genius for your Ork commander. General Custork perhaps?

Some nice suggestions there guys, cheers. Though as they are for sale I have to avoid the usual copywright issues etc, which is why im sticking to real-world parody references.
Sherlork will probably be up next, though a Napoleon gobbo is sounding like a really tempting distraction. Abe is on the list for sure too. I still chuckle at the thought of a stick-on beard under that hat.
I still think one of my limiting factors will be how many stoopid hats/accessories I can find equally stoopid names for....
WWII helmet - Gork S Baton anyone?
Stoopid grinning orc w/braces + gobbo sidekick with wig and makeup - Mork n Mincy.
Hmm, sorry about that last one.
