The Ultramarines movie is soon to be release straight to dvd. And, that means, it's going to be bad. And, as we're pathetic addicts, we're probably going to buy it anyway.
But, we don't have to throw our hands up in disgust as we watch the cliches. Instead, we can follow the time-honoured tradition of turning bad movies into drinking games, and raising our glasses instead.
Without knowing any of the content of the actual film, I'm going to start this off.
To play, get your friends together, along with some... adult beverages.
Whenever any of the following happen, you drink!
- Anyone says (yells, shouts, etc), "For the Emperor"
- Anyone gets shot in the head with a bolter
- A dreadnought makes its first appearance in the movie
- Whenever a Librarian channels the powers of the warp
- Any direct reference is made to a game rule (Aka, "We shall have no fear" or "Let us recite the litanies of hate")
- Whenever someone mentions "The Taint"
Feel free to add to the list.

I think you will need more than a single 12 pack for this game.
Also if you are wasted off your a** the movie might just be awesome!

My suggestions:
The Chaos Scum make a blasphemous reference to the 'False Emperor.'
The Chaos Scum exhibit deamon taint
The Chaos Scum gloat right before the might of the Boys in Blue shove their faces in.
The Chaos Scum make a passing statement to the effect of 'And we'd've gotten away with it if it weren't for Marneus and those meddling Assault Marines'

HAHA, Battle report, that awesome. Might not be appropriate to post this unless its a youtube video with that 18+ block thing.
This actually sounds like a sweet idea since I doubt I could get my friends to watch it otherwise. I refuse to watch something like this by myself.

This is always fun, and seeing the ever-so-dubious trailer makes me think it's a good idea. Watching Back to the Future and drinking to "Marty", "Back to the future", "One-Point-Twenty-One-JIGAWATTS!" and "Flux capacitor" sure was a laugh until we were too drunk to actually watch the film any more, at which point staring at the wall seemed like a laugh.
If we get to see a Black Legionaire smacked slow-mo in the chops with a power fist, I'll drink to that. In fact I'll drink to any cheesy slow-mo and especially to matrix rip-offs..
40k can easily be adapted for drinking rules... in fact, I got back into this when we invented Beerhammer (or WarHammered). Rules are, kill a unit, take a shot. Now, in 4th ed this wasn't fair on the Impy Guard player and to our delight he found this out pretty quickly. So, my mate made a rather detailed "Beerhammer Calculator" Excel spreadsheet that works out your beverage fines depending on points cost, type of unit destroyed (HQ, Heavy Support, special character, etc), and total models in army. Also included were. 14 Difficulty levels were selectable (this guy had too much free time), topping off with "Space Marine" and "Spartan"- but unless you had an iron stomach, mechanical liver and a deathwish these weren't recommended. I've still got it kicking around somewhere, i think...

so, other than a few obvious ones like mentioned above, I think the real things to drink to will be things that would never actually happen in a real game of 40k, but will have to be included in the movie, because it makes space marines look extra awesome. For example...
- every time a dreadnought fires an assault cannon
- every time a terminator fires a heavy flamer
- every time a power weapon or power fist sergeant fires a plasma pistol.
- a techmarine. Doing anything...
- coming in out of a drop pod and then still having a really long way to run, shouting in an epic charge before FINALLY making it to their enemies.
- bikes shooting.
etc.

***what the hey...ANY reference to the Emperor ***
Blood for the Blood God: a Full Beer if they get that cheesy.
Vehicle rules: each player pick a vehicle type prior to the movie (Rhino, Pred, Land raider, Speeder, etc). Each time that vehicle shows up in a shot, you drink.
Any type of Oath/vow taken.
for the hardcore: A drink for every single shell fired (better count them assault cannons carefully)
For the less hardcore: Choose a weapon type. Drink each time that type of weapon is fired/used.

@Crash & Lucifer: Looks like my copy of Beerhammer has vanished from my comp in a recent reformat, so I'm getting my buddy to send me it again. I'll post it up when I get it back (assuming it doesn't break any rules on account of it blatantly promoting irrisponsible drinking on this family-friendly site, ho hum )
@Ailaros: Yah, generally epic stuff that just doesn't happen in the tabletop game is definately worth a drink. I want to see a techmarine doing maths (but not for long, just a snippet thankyouverymuch), a captain drawing battleplans in the dirt- that sort of thing.

I'd say anytime a marine sgt. starts something (speech, plan, etc) but gets head-shotted would be worth a drink.
And of course, every time a marine dies and the background music changes to sad.
