Yeah, I thought, let's go with that...

So, question is in the title; which alignment from the popular D&D rpg do you 'conform' to the most. It's alright, we won't judge.

Me, I would say I am neutral evil. I'm very definatly not on the path of good or righteouness, and am a very scheming kind of guy. I will abide by common tradition as long as it benefits me, but I don't see much point in having a 'fair fight' or martial honour. Despite this, I'm not a maniac or mindless beast as would befrit a Chaotic evil indivual, and won't do 'risky' (shall we say) things that do not benefit me beyond instant gratification. I'm not completely devoid of compassion, but you'll have to look hard to find it.

So I don't feel guilty using my fishing rod/ wand to put a beat down on people who prove annoying, or mess with my garden.

Personally I'd prefer my old avatar (the pic is 8 years newer than my current, and first avatar).



But it poses an interesting application of 'disarmingness' to have a thread locked by a gnomish wizard.

Which is fine.

I roll a die and determine what alignment I am for that day.

I'm not a big fan of how they neutered the current DnD system of alignment, lumping neutral and chaotic good togther and also throwing in neutral and lawful evil together.

Chaotic Neutral. Not a big fan of rules, but I like being a nice guy.

True Neutral. I have tendancies that would fall into both chaotic good and lawful evil. I believe in justice over authority but it isn't benieth me to use laws to my advantage to get justice/revenge. Things are black and white to me. I will respect a superior but I will take their place if I feel they are doing a poor job. Also, cus I'm a Druid

Neutral Evil and Chaotic Evil would fit me best. I choose Neutral Evil.

I think you misunderstand what Chaotic Evil is. If you were actually CE you would probably be in an institution or not posting here.

I personally find Chaotic neutral characters the most entertaining, but am probably lawful good myself.

Chaotic Neutral, because I value my happiness over everything else even if it means breaking the law occasionally, so long as I'm enjoying myself.

whoever chooses chaotic evil has either the rule of an empire to murer unencubererd or is a massmurder on a hobby basis...

Actually now that I think about it, I'm probably neutral good because I rarely ever go about trying to make other peoples lives more miserable, I just cant find any enjoyment out of putting other people down.

Gotta say I would be true neutral.

Not because my intentions are not specifically good or evil, or my actions always abide by or disobey moral codes and the law. But more because I'm too lazy to take sides...

I try to be good but I know justice requires fitting punishments.

I'm not sure:

I follow laws until I find a reason not to. As in, I drive the speed limit UNLESS I have to get there NOW, I play a game by the rules until someone just NEEDS to be put in their place, stuff like that.

I am also a hopeless romantic who is described by alot of people as being incredibly callous and uncaring.

I kinda think of myself as Chaotic Good, though I'm not that sure about that.

I find most "Hopeless romantics" to be hopeless at everything in general, otherwise if they had a quality they were good at eventually someone would be attracted to them.
