Yep, saw it when it came out at the cinemas years ago.
This is the Timothy Hutton wierd crap movie, right?

Spoiler:
he's dying and doesn't know it yet

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Tim Robbins, not Hutton.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

This is one of my favorite movies, as it's the most obvious inspiration for the Silent Hill series.

I highly recommend it.

Pain is an illusion of the senses, Despair an illusion of the mind.

What are your favorite parts? I really like the whole party scene, and when he is in that nightmare hospital

It's a solid enough movie.

Spoiler:
Owes the basic story twist to "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge," but there's nothing really wrong with that. It's a classic story, and there are certainly worse ripoffs of it.

The opening/ending of the movie. I definitely also like the hospital scene, and the first scene in the subway.

Pain is an illusion of the senses, Despair an illusion of the mind.
