Subject: Who will lead the Sons of Horus to War?

I've finally commited to an army and the first few models are being finished this week. I'll be starting the blog on DakkaDakka soon, but Id like to have a heroic figure to kick off the blog with. My army is going to be an ambiguous Sons of Horus army run as space wolves with a pre black armor Horus as Logan. The question is...which captain?
I've narrowed the choices to:
Iacton Qruze
Verulam Moy
"Little" Horus Aximand
Serghar Targhost
Falkus Kibre
Some unnamed captain(a completely new one I make)
Note the only loyalist captains are Moy and Qruze. I am a self proclaimed child of chaos but I like these two enough to make the army 3rd or 19th company(even though in store events they will be traitors )
What say you? Who shall call the Legion to war. Aximand and Qruze are my two favorite characters, but I wouldn't mind making a totally custom one

I say Qruze. He is an interesting character in the books and I enjoyed his story line (although it is rather short...) immensely.

Qruze is a BAMF, but I'd go with Lil' Horus, precisely because Qruze is a loyalist, and that's part of what makes him a BAMF.

At first, I wasn't a huge fan of Qruze, but once I read False Gods through Flight, I was hooked. He's an old fart, but he's a noble guy, and he's right. Even if he isn't my main Captain, I'll definitely convert one.
Aximand I like because he's one of the few traitors who seems to geniunely regret the Heresy. However instead of breaking with it, he goes through by killing Torgaddon. Automatically Appended Next Post: So what's the verdict?
Qruze, Aximand, or homebrew

I liked the character of Aximand (despite his slaying of Torgaddon on Isstvan III) in False Gods and Galaxy in Flames. Go for "Little Horus", although a Qruze conversion would be sweet.

Well, I suppose eventually I'll make both characters. Which character do you suppose I should make first?
@Gathering Storm: Yeah, I like Aximand, but I doubt I'll ever forgive him for killing Torgaddon :/

Little Horus, if only because a quote at towards the end of Galaxy in fames leaves the possibility of him

I'd say Little Horus (I hold out hope that, when the time comes, he'll be the one who lowers the shields on Horus' battle barge to allow the Emperor aboard).
Although it might be fun to convert a Qruze mini with an ear trumpet and Zimmer frame.

@Necroagogo: I really want to make a Qruze in a rocking chair as an objective marker one of these days. Unfortunately existing fluff says Horus did it intentionally to lure the Emperor aboard. Although the tactical genius of getting the most powerful being in the universe CLOSER to you is debateable
@Little Lord Fauntleroy: That's what I like about him, he genuinely feels conflicted about what he has to do, but he's a Milgrim officer, just following orders.
Also, I'll be playing on the heretic side of our Horus Heresy events so it makes sense.

I'd love to see that objective marker! And I now have the image of Creeeeed! outflanking Emp onto Horus' ship
I'm familiar with the sequence of events at the end of the HH Big Fight but I just can't shake this feeling that the writers have *something* in mind for Little Horus - every time he's mentioned in the books, it's like they're trying to hint at something.
