Hey guys, i've been working lately on my new daemon prince, an ascension to daemonhood from one of the champions on my army
from that champion to this:
However now that i'm up to painting the horns i kinda feel there is too much bleached bone around that area and was thinking on maybe do them whiter with a brown ink at the start just like the spikes on the champion model however i'd like some suggestions regarding the color maybe even apointing me to a mini so that i could figure out which color would fit my DP.

They look fine as is now, but if you make them the same shade of white as the head then it will look like they are growing from his helmet (which would be awesome). A Chestnut inkwash will help with that too.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do. |

Could leave them black fading into a burning red at the tips, could look nice considering how bright the head is in general. It would tie in the skin to the head part also.

I've gotta say, the champion/demon prince scale up works incredibly well! They actually look very similar to each other (sans the obvious stuff e.g. weapons, though personally I would have gone with the vents not the wings).
Gotta agree with Ifalna on the paint job, and then maybe mirror the black-to-red fade on the sword and toenails? would help tie it into the model a bit more, and would look like the sword is more a part of him than a weapon he grabbed off a rack.
