My new debate, Black Ops or Assasins Creed: Brotherhood

I like the gameplay in both games, but I think Creed exceeds in Graphics.

I LOVE the Assasins Creed Storyline, but Cod's storyline is also very good.

As for online play, COD has been kicking ass, but I also want to check out the new Creed online Multiplayer Mode.

So Creed or Black Ops? Which should I get?

I know Brotherhood comes out in 8 days for US, and Black Ops is out tomorrow!

PS: Assasins Creed opionins and Cod's are based on the previous games.

Getting Black Ops because of the zombie modes.

I mean seriously who doesn't want to shoot zombies as Richard Nixon?

Zombies is the thing I don't like abod COD! Dont ask why, I just dont get the point

The point of CoD zombies is to just have fun playing something unrealistic. Its a fun mode as opposed to multiplayer were Kill to Death matters more than fun.

My 2 top list games.

I want Brotherhood the most though.

Also, some info with multiplayer for black ops.

1) No more quick scoping. The perk allowing faster aim has been changed to prevent faster aim on scoped weapons.
2) Stopping power is gone.
3) No more deathstreaks.
4) New ninja perk allows silent footsteps and the pro version lets you hear enemy foot steps better.
5) Hardline pro now lets you change the content of a care package.
6) Challenges are replaced with 'contracts'. The difference being you pay for the contract and must complete it in a certain amount of time.
7) Killstreaks are different and there is no end-game killstreak.
8) Can change camo of guns and apply face camo as well.
9) Clan tag is embossed onto your weapon along with an emblem.
10) Scopes can be somewhat customized as well.
11) Explosives either do less damage or have a smaller damage radius.

Also, they said that with the reduction of stopping power they put more damage onto several types of guns, mainly focused on Assault Rifles and SMG's.

I like a lot of the changes, we'll just see how they play out though.

Im now even less convinced of COD, No more quick scopes!

Meh, both games are sucking the life out of gaming with their 2 games a year mentality...

Save up for F.E.A.R. 3 and Deadspace 2.

I'm of the opinion that Creed would simply outflank the Black Ops.

The latest Black Ops commercial has convinced me that I must own this game.

why not save up for both?
but get Black Ops first, just because it's already out.

Go with Black Ops, it has JFK and Castro hunt down zombies.

I've played Black Ops online for a bit, it appears to have a heap load of customisation options. For example adding more than one red dot to a scope, or changing the colour or even style of the dot. One big change is that you don't unlock and get to use weapons as you level up. You earn cash for completing challenges and levelling up which unlocks the guns, but you then have to purchase them. This kinda bugs me, but you don't have to complete challenges with each gun to unlock them, they're purchase options right from the get go.

Still to try the campaign mode though, didn't have much time to play last night.

I reckon I'm gonna buy Brotherhood anyway, not too sure about AC online, so at least I've got CoD for mindless dakka action.

Tough one to call really.

COD: Somewhat cheesy stories that are predictable but can still get the heart racing (ending of mw2 was awesome imo ), online is a crap load of fun, especially now that iv started varying my game modes lol.

AC: Great story start to finish for both games. Cant comment about online though, havnt tried it lol.

If previous games are to go by then id probly say black ops as iv spent more time on COD:4 & MW2 than AC 1&2. Both games are great regardless though.

Well I was speaking about the game in general, after all both have had you jump of insanely high buildings, stab people then hide in haystacks lol. Typical assasination for AC1 anyway.

Black Ops won't drop in price for at least a year. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will probably be $20 by the Spring.

Won't it take you longer to install Brotherhood than it will finish the single player campaign in Black Ops?

Black Ops was a tad short, but I found it a good, gory mind-fething trip. Better than that piece of gak Modern Warfare 2.

I just played Black Ops at a friend's. Best game evar! I think it rivals Halo:Reach,and,maybe,better in some ways.........

Just bought Creed myself last night, and am sitting at work chomping at the bit till I get to go home a try it out!

Just played Black Ops and have mixed views on it.

Campaign - although insanely short( 5 hours to complete on regular) the story was somewhat confusing until the end, well worth it.

Multiplayer - Killstreaks are over powered... thats all i have to say.

Killstreaks can be ridiculous. But at least there's no nuke.

I usually run Spy Plane / SAM Turret / Napalm or Mortar, myself.

I typically use stakeout with a LAW secondary, so I can shoot down spy planes or help shoot down choppers.

Yup, LAW or Strela for me, good solid backup, though I am having a lot of fun with the ballistic knife these days, much to the annoyance of other players. Even more annoying to them is when you shoot down their spy plane with your M60.
