Since BT has not responded to my PM's about the MoM contest I have decided to take it over till he returns. So, for the Sept 2010 contest which was painting up an OOP model so if you have an OOP model that you have painted please turn in your pictures of it to me by PM by Friday Nov 12, 2010 @ 12:00 PM CST so I can get the contest voting started by 6:00 PM of the same day. Right now I have one entry for the Sept 2010 contest.

Also, voting will be done by a poll and not a posting. So please enter your OOP model and please vote.

That's great to see that the MotM contest is not buried and forgotten!

For this contest the WIP picture requirement are being waived so inorder to encourage entries.

Hey Pip, can you explain a little about what you're looking for? Is this fantasy, 40k, aything? what's MoM? Does it need to be a stock model or can it be converted somewhat? Maybe if there's an older thread on the topic explaining it you can point me there?

It is anything that is OOP. It doesn't matter if it is GW (WFB, 40K, LoTR), PP, FoW, ect... It just needed to be OOP.

The rules for the Sept 10 MoM are in a stuck thread at the top of the Painting and Modeling section. I just posted an update of the MoM so people will know that there is new management for the MoM Contest and that it is still alive.

I'd read that thread a few times and would really like to get in on it but it was apparently dead, great to see it coming back! I really enjoy stuff like this. I'll get something worth entering started up and finished in the next week. Do you have any idea what the next MoM will be announced (kind short notice on this one)?

Normally we let the winner decide. But I think to get the ball rolling for next month's I think it should be something holiday themed.

I was thinking that we are in the holiday season that it it should be: Tis the season for Pie (and I mean large templates.) I will post a new thread for the December 2010 MoM contest rules so people can get a start on it.

Well I have a few entries so far and the all look good. So if you have a OOP mini that you want to enter please feel free to do so since I relaxed the WIP picture requirement to being nice to have to compair and see the work but it is ont needed. Let's reboot the MoM contest right.
