yeah,
I'm going to a tournamnet in two weeks time and need to prep a 1750 Pts - Chaos Marines List
I want to use my obliterators...
I tested a 9 obliterator list but got beaten twice by a ArbitorIans fast all Slaanesh Chaos Daemons list.
probabily not the best match up... but still two loses.

So I tweaked it, I dropped 3 obliterators and added one more squad of troops and an extra WT Prince to deal with MC and help bust tanks...

Personally, I think you should really invest in some Melta guns for your Plague Marines.

Drop the Havoc Launchers and dozer blade and put the points towards Melta guns.

After that, make the Obliterators 3 squads of 2 that way you have more target sturation that way you don't end up wasting the 3rd Lascannon shot.

The Power Sword is kind of a waste in my opinion. At I3 your going last or simultaneous with just about everything so you may as well go with a Power Fist. Also, put the Power Fists on the Meltas, put the plasmas on the no champion Marines.

I should have said three of the four tourney missions involve objective holding or moving.. I'f i drop a squad I'd be left with only 21 troops, which might be a issue.

Ok I can't drop the dozerblade, it's stuck to the hull.
But as I only have three rhinos, I was going to build one more for the tournament; If I drop the rhino ( I dont have ) and a PlasmaGun... this buys 4x meltas and a powerfist...

Well, I played a similar list, but with 3 PM units.
This should suffice at this level.
This frees some points to add Termies or Raptors.

I'm assuming the Havoc Launchers are stuck on the Rhinos as well?

All in all, I think it's a pretty solid list you have going on there. If anything, I would want one more Plasma Gun but if you can't get the points because of WYSIWYG, I understand. Should be a tough build, best of luck.

yeah,
wuestenfux that is me all spent... I have both raptors and termies, but I have no points for them>?

Unholy_Martyr the havocs are not set in stone.
But they seem good value and with a strenth 5 blast hit every turn they make the op look at my rhinos...

I'd rather the almost guaranteed kill with the plasma over the off chance with the havocs.
