In all seriousness have you concidered it might be a lump of white metal ready to be turned into a model? it looks like a blank to me. If i am right then these pieces are just lumps of metal ready to be melted down and cast into something else?

Looks like some sort of Jump Pack. You can see the shape resemblence in the second photo and it has a symbol which resembles the Fast Attack symbol you find on Marines.

deff not a marine jump pack. History of marine jump packs: ancient originals were twin turbines on a backpack. then we had the second ed metals which were basically made into plastic of the ones we have today.
Could it be from an old terminator cyclone, not second ed but earlier? can we have something else next to it for scale?

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

I'd say, assuming it's GW at all, it looks like a conversion bit for a death company jump pack.

I would have to agree with Ailaros, that it may be a Death Company Jump Pack.

I was just about to take a scale photo when someone on another forum posted this:
It's a "Starship Troopers MI CHAS robot" apparently.
Mystery solved! Thanks to everyone who helped! Now that I know there's no one out there who needed this bit to complete their collection or something I'm going to turn it into a piece of stowage on a SM bike.

That was a character introduced in the Roughnecks cartoon (and then incorporated into the game).
It was an AI robotic soldier prototype (Cybernetic Humanoid Armoured Soldier or something).
About 50% taller than a terminator (that's a 40mm base).
|
I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Do you know if it's GW? The workmanship doesn't scream " GW" to me....
Definitely 40k if it is Gw...
