Yeah no Striking Scorpions what's up with that? I'm reading the Path of the Warrior book the now, which is focused on them, and it's kinda cool. Makes them sounds like Space Ninjas.

I'd probably go with the Striking Scorpions as my favourite. Although it's a close thing between then and the Dark Reapers.

I'd pick striking scopions if they were there, but I'll just go with fire dragons. Nothing scarier than a fire-proof guy wielding fire.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Warp Spiders seem like they should be the absolute coolest from their background, and I voted for them, but I feel that their stats do not do them justice. But the idea for them is great, and I want to make a Spider list at some point-using the Night Spinners, Warp Spiders, and maybe a battery of the cannon that uses the mono-filament tech. Throw a few units of Dire Avengers in or some Guardians with bright lance spam....hmm, maybe there is some potential. But probably not until the next codex. Oh well...

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Fire Dragons for me. Exarchs that actually light on fire when the war-mask is with them? What aspect embodies the Bloody Handed One better?

Dark reapers. Even though they have ridiculous cost, and should never take a heavy slot. They pack a great amount of fire.

You also missed Shining Spears, but I doubt that will be a problem.

I think Banshees just edge it for me over Spiders, as I love both models. Well, the original Jes models anyway, the more recent ones suck, especially the "middle" ones.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

I voted Howling Banshees because I love those models I am considering buying them just as a painting project.

In game terms either Fire Dragons or Dire Avengers.

As close as one can get in DE society; they still have a Shrine, and Drazhar may be their Phoenix lord (Arhra, as even the old fluff and models made them seem like Striking Scorpions)

P.S. I also voted for Warp Spiders, i like them more than any others.

Just to add on to this, the organisation of the Incubi are very close to that of the aspect warriors, even in game terms. The Klaveix has access to powers similar to the ones the Exarches have and he also has the same stat increase as his Exarch counterpart. In addition the Incubi also possess similar equipment to the Striking Scorpions (namely the Mandiblaster in older editions, and the Klaives are similar to the Scorpion Chainsword). Drazhar is also prettymuch outright stated to be the Arhra the Fallen Phoenix.
