I also have the HH board game and just wanted to say that the production values are fantastic. I've not had a chance to play it yet so would be interested in hearing your opinion on the game once you do.

I was flipping through the rulebook in bed last night and it actually seems very simple. From what I gathered, you have a certain amount of Iniative that you can use to execute actions/movements (Kind of like the movement/combat system in the old PC game Chaos Gate if you remember that gem of badassery) but instead of Dice, you use cards that dictate what action you're taking, and the effects of that action are written on the card. In other words, it's sort of RISK tied in with Magic or somesuch (I donno if that was a good example - I know very little of MTG )

I can certainly get some army shots Logan. I've finished my new table too (Nice big 6X4 piece of fine-grain plywood ) so aside from my standard black ashworld/urban board, I have a forest/jungle/grasslands side. Perhaps after a game with the missus tomorrow, I'll set out each army in turn and take some shots.

I haven't played HH yet (I know, I know, get on it.) but I'll be sure to take some action shots when I do get around to it.

This stuff is full of bad assery thanks for sharing it with us.

No prob. BTW sorry about not having the promised pics. The GF and I haven't finished the game we were playing yet (Yea, from last week. She has a hard time sitting still and playing the game. Maybe she has ADD? ). Probably roll through the last few turns tonight though, then I'll get some pics once the board is clear.

Well not really, the 40k rulebook has pictures from almost every edition bar the first IIRC. But I am young and am sort of guessing (Having only been born between 3rd and 4th Ed....I think) :/

They stuck a couple in it. But there's not nearly as much old art as there was in previous editions.

My FLGS has a 2nd Ed rulebook with artwork of Zoats and Jokaero in it.

THAT is old stuff.

Golden Eye Scout, it is completely impossible to paint and dick around with models sans beer.
