WHAT THE FETH HAPEND?

this AWSOME theard is losing momentum: WHY ARE WE STILL FIGHTING ON THE FOUNDING THIS IS A FLAME WAR THATS HALTING THE PROGECT SMARTEN UP!

i thought it was DOWNPAT that we were Lost chapter

that and @bBl thats a good convertion only the ultras are to roman for my liking (the snobs) but that will work

Now To set an example we need too not yell catch your breath bigmek and lets do what what our shield brethren would with a spartan resolution keep on going...i will be posting a new art piece on here some time this morning and i am going to goto my local hardware store in the morning to pick up some milli putty to sculpt out some hydras to use as substitute fenris wolves...and i will surly but slowly continue with more back ground and the whole point of me posting back ground ive wrote on here is for us to discus what we like and dont...and dont be afraid to post your own stories please do so id love to hear what others have written or what there opinions are on the shields...lets not let this thread die please ...

Aye I dont know i dont if te shields would have a dog like Cerberus creature or have a hydra reptile monster...its hard to decide...Here is what Ive came up with to explain the proxy of fenris wolves...When Our Primarch was going through the task set before Him by the Kings of the planet he had to slay noazgroth a eight headed reptilian monster noazgroth was the largest and oldest of the creatures known as hydroxs She stood the height of a reaver titan and weighed almost as much..our primarch set off into the marsh lands for two weeks he marched with out stoping for rest or to eat and on the 15th day he came upon the entrance of the cavern were noazgroth slept and when he went in to confront the beast he could not rouse it from its slumber nor kill it in its sleep so he returned to the outside and sought shelter to rest and for 3 weeks the beast slumbered but during the 3rd day of the week the beast awoke our primarch began battle with noazgroth and for nine days they raged with fury and violence so tremendous the most of the caverns collapsed Around them until the 9th day when our primarch slew the last head off the beast the battle ended in complete silence and with his sword the primarch slaughtered the beast and moved it from its death bed to find a clutch of a dozen eggs most had been crushed but two had survived with no harm and the primarch gatherd them along with one the heads of the hydrox and returned to civilization ..upon his arrival the kings were astonished to find the young man had survived his charge with slaying the hydrox and held him with high esteem until they learned he brought back two of the hell spawns eggs with him and ordered him to destroy them but he refused with the answer "if i ever face an enemy that is ever stronger or tougher then there mother it will be a dark time for all of us"and after two years the Hydrox eggs hatched and the primarch raised them to be fierce and loyal body guards of the king....So what do you all think of this....and When a initiate wishes to join the elite Hydra guard latter in his career with the shields he must retreat into the marsh lands and return with two hydrox eggs he stole from a slumbering mother and raise them...

Btw, whose geneseed is this chapter from? I was thinking maybe they were created in the Dark Founding, and forgotten about (damned administratum and their brilliant filekeeping skillz!).

I was originally thinking of a few less likely idea's:

They are created from traitor geneseed (very unlikely, but perhaps an experiment or something?)

21st founding sounds cool but not the traitor geneseed, i would say they are made from ultrasmurfs (what thier roman and we are greek?)

and maybe have them like Real anceint greeks like the gaurdsmen could be farmers from the city states (Atheons Prime is the capital) and the emporer shields fortress monestary is in Sparantian Delta, how bout it?

also to have power armour your in the second company and to get Termie Armour you need to be in the first co how bout it?

i like this amend my writings with some of your suggestions please...i feel bad for missing this

2 pages of some good stuff

I kinda stopped contributing because:
a) I suck at making fluff. That's why I play DA and BA. Hawk Lords is pushing my comfort zone.
b) The all caps yelling conversations are very off putting. Inside voices people.
3) (yeah i changed from letters to numbers, what about it?) You guys seem to have it well under control. To many chefs in the kitchen kinda thing.

I will fully admit that it is partialy my fault this thread is losing momentum. After 4 days of 12 hr shifts I have had no time or energy to contribute myself. I promise though i will be back on here and the other thread as soon as I can. Thanks guy and please keep the amazing fluff coming. Gives me plenty of inspiration!

Hmm, I just thought of something. These guys are going to be a lot like the iron snakes.
They have shields and spears, IIRC.

Hey guys, I just wanted to say thanks again for all the ideas! There is one small item I want to talk about. I have to fund this project somehow and I was wondering if anyone was interested in some Tyranids?!? As well as everything in the thread below I will toss in pretty much every Tyranid bit I own... Not a small amount either. So please take a look and maybe help keep the Emperor's Shields going!

Shew ive had The worlds most awkward dream....i was a space marine of the shields so freaking weired..long story short i died O.o...but even in death i still served hahahaha its true about the dream and im going to use it to write fluff for a dreadnought character....and i understand about you having to work tony its just bigmek were did he goto....

i know what you mean by the liking of lost legions..i think it has BOOMED!!! around the site but i dont mind it all i think its awesome that it has maybe administration will do a lost legion competition if it boils more.....

You know how the Grey Knights Fluff Dozenths Tell where there gene seed comes from well what if it came from the shields DUN DUN DUN and do to our select genetics we are kept secret to protect our gene seed and plus all the crap that went down between us and the ultramarines...i still haven't received any feed back on the what if promethion and robute Hated each other and this is the reason for there exclusion from the index Astarte...

I like the idea of robute and promethion not getting along and I like the secrecy of the gene seed as well! Keep on it and let me know!

Hey Tony!!Ive started a separate asking about the emperors Armour and some people made some insights ive never realized until now about terminator and there crux the stone cross on there left shoulder...what if the shields didn't receive this honor and the reason for me saying this is that grey knight terminators don't have the crux neither its like the imperium or the sanctions placed on them by robute could of happened to were the terminators Don't receive the emperors blessing...idk just brain farting around

I love the Emperors Shields if the two of you could help me in my lore that would help alot O.o
