Don't get me wrong the lower price is a huge plus
But it strikes of over commitment to sell more when your so far delayed: I don't know the logistics but it would seem to just add more time.

I know this last buy in was at full retail but does any one recall what the previous last backer "being able to pledge" cost was?
I know it was something like you had to buy only ALL plastics or ALL resin.

At the time of the most recent BF buy-in, the core offers appeared to be ALL plastic; I didn't check to see if resin pinups or others were available.

It isn't the late backers making this whole thing late either...

I'm not blaming other backers ether for wanting to get in ether Alpharius; I'm just wishing there was a little more transparency on there maybe being able to get in on late, as otherwise it does sorta feel like it undermines the purpose of kickstarter in the first place at least to me. As well as wishing I understood what added time commitment more prints of the product mean for the time of shipping; again I just wish there was more of a transparency on areas that I'm sure other people are worried about to.

The main thing that would just have cleared up this campaign for me was I guess just not saying things that were not true.

For example the "Couple days" post which is hardly the first time Adam has said there would be an update but then waited far longer then said to post anything.
I'd much rather not hear anything until the actual update.
It honestly to me feels like he's saying "I promise to tell you something in X time."
But then its "I was busy so I couldn't keep my promise."

I just think its strange that his kickstarter rarely gets any posts when so many people have backed it and it's one of the longer delayed projects; and while I don't doubt we will get an amazing product that does not mean we should not voice concern over aspects.

I would like to see a return of weekly & monthly updates. Small updates are fine, just so I can see that something is happening.

But nothing is exactly what is happening.

This KS is moving slower than a block of cheese in an old man's colon.

Tooling the injection molds and sculpting/re-sculpting are the tasks that take the most time and what the Kickstarter folks paid for. Producing a few extra sprues isn't going to delay the project by that much. If KD can get a bit more money to overcome some snag in production, then so be it.

Updates would be nice, though. What ever happened to the promised biweekly Wednesday updates? They seemed to halt after the 'big' Black Friday update.

Update from Adam regarding an update coming up:

HELLO! Update next Friday. Things have been nuts (in a good way). Currently organizing the transportation of the finished production from the plastic factory, over to the print factory so everything can be put into its appropriate boxes.I'll be sharing photos of the last armor sets, Spider Silk, Dragon King and Gorm along with bringing everyone up to speed.

Seems like everything is wrapping up.

I shouldn't be too optimistic just yet, as it is still months off, but the mention of the production being done..

This. Even if nothing big has happened, comment on little things that have happened, or drop a few new preview photos. Across every KS I've ever backed, it's been the case that updates lead to enthusiasm and increased pledges, while silence leads to worry, unhappiness, rumours and aggravation.

To be fair that comment was literally just about 20 hours ago; and honestly is just about the same sort of comment as the previous "There will be a comment in a few days" that he posted on the 6th of jan.

Here's hoping we get the update though! I am looking forward to seeing some spures~

He's usually better when he puts a hard date on updates (not perfect, but better).

Well, I stand corrected, seeing as Friday has come and gone with zero communication.

Not sure that communication on this one has been horrible. It's certainly lessened compared to the former frequency of updates from Adam, not talking about KS updates either.

Bummer that he missed the Friday deadline he'd set for himself. Curious if we'll get it at some point this weekend.

Yeah, not horrible, but certainly disappointing. Feels like the last stretch has really gotten bogged down even more than before.

I'd venture that he's never been great, especially after a few of the longer month+ stretches with radio silence. He got somewhat better with sacred backer time, but even that died after three updates.

He hasn't even logged onto Kickstarter since the last Wednesday comment where he said a new update would be ready Friday.

Yeah… Sad story.

Can't even commit to his word and bring even a 5 minute update to those that funded the project…

I just hope that the creative-boutique-artiste delivers on the experience side of the game. We know the minis will be mind-boggling brilliant. Heck, as much as I love the minis, give me some tokens and the rules, and I'm happy.
(Ok, not entirely, but still….)

I think the best example of updates being sacred (in my experience), has to be Xia: Legends of a Drift System.

Every Friday like clockwork, unless noted otherwise previously (IE - holidays).

This is going on 45+ days delayed from a promised update "prior to the holidays"

I guess I stand by my earlier comments that he must have meant Valentine's, St. Patty's, or Easter….

Unlike many of the doomsayers on the Kickstarter page, I doubt anyone has dire hopes for this project. The lack an update on Friday has just been a tremendous let-down and the lack of updates in general as of late have been frustrating.

Poots seems to love his elaborate updates with pictures and such, but even a comment would be welcome. Then again, wasn't the New York-Boston area hit with tremendous snowstorms recently? Perhaps those created a snag.

Yup. I'd even be happy with another Backer Time, just something to know we're still on the rails, given that the last Update was Black Friday.

He has no problem taking in more and more money. I honestly do not care about this game or minis anymore 2 + years is a god dang long time.... I asked for a refund after the last black Friday [MOD EDIT - Please don't try and work around the Expletive Filter - thanks! - Alpharius]. I plan on putting everything on ebay for a lot more than I paid.

don't remind me. Though New York got it significantly lighter than New England (despite the state of emergency and locked down public transit in NYC).

I'm not really dire on the project, and I don't think most backers are. I do believe that any goodwill afforded to Adam early in this project after the beautiful model kits has been exhausted at this point, leading to frustration and some of the more dramatic responses we're seeing on KS.

If we are somehow surprised by an early shipping time, I think all would be easily forgiven. Hell, when this stuff arrives, all the waiting will be forgotten.

Mostly, anyway.

Biggest personal worries right now are when ROW will get their stuff and that the game won't fall flat on its ass on execution, it has quite a bit of hype sticking to it right about now.

I think the game will be fine, if not great. It's the sticker shock that will scare people away...
