This is a simple Imperial Guard Objective I made out of a lasgun, a guard helmet, a SM combat knife, a purity seal and some stones.

Nice, simple. I like it.

My only nitpick is that when people do that with rifles in real life, they make sure to put the bayonet on so that there's some way of actually sticking it in the ground.

You would also have though that they'd nab the magazine as well, but thats a pretty minor gripe. Looks great

Let’s assume the ammo in the magazine is spent.

You mean the clip, right? (/trollface)

I had the same idea to this a while ago, though minus the purity seal and with the addition of some guardsman's boots (generously donated minus the legs) and a bedroll. Looks really nice painted up, I'll have to do the same with mine eventually.

Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

I've seen better. One of my local GWs workers made an IG objective marker. A tip of how the marker looks like: 60mm base + Vostok Vodka (vostok vodka bottles made of flying base heads + paint)

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

but it's not supposed to be an all out diorama. it's an obj. marker, and well done. and i imagine the bayonnet is attached at the other end, burried. i see the other as the fallen trooper's comat knife.
and the power pack was left due to burial rituals. that way he can fight on in the afterlife. my take anyway....

hey, you inspired me. I was planning on moddelling a guardmen standing aside his comrades grave. I was thinking a cross, but that more from our time then 4OK a helmet on a lasgun would prove very good for guard. Thanks for inspiring me.

I personally think the simplicity of it makes it great, why go all out on an objective marker, and since when are soldiers combat graves hugely ornate and fancy? Nice work buddy

I wouldn't trust a bayonet to hold a lasgun up as it would be quite topheavy and probly fall over...
