Hello,
Well I am doing theeviil that the voices tell me from GW. I curently have my personal army I have been working on Daemons, and am looking for a good "forgiving/fun" army to teach people to play with against them. I should note the second army will probably be sold, and I have to paint it, it will probably be used as well. So give your opinions, and I currently have around 1500 pts for my personal one.

Regards,
Carl

Just choose from one of the simple armies that are either MEQ heavy or rely on just overrunning the opponent.

Necrons are definitely out.

Why would you convert players?

Well to be honest we only have a few WM players, and the fluff is well liked through the store. It also allows the store to make a profit from gamers switching, as well as people who have asked us to get some GW items. It is also easier to teach (GW) then WM/Hordes, to a younger audience. I should also note, that I am the go to guy for painting and terrain, so painting them does not bother me.

This.

Where did this concept of gaming company exclusivity come from?

Then again, my generation of gamers tend to be gaming sluts. Picking and choosing games from multiple different companies and playing the games that interested us. The idea of sticking to just ONE company's product seemed to be so ... limiting.

I am not saying in any manner that we will quit getting items for WM/Hordes, it is more of a decsion to open up some more space for bringing in another product. By showing the gamers multiple venues we stand a better chance to make a profit, and therfore keep the store running. With the eventual product being a balance of both products, with out having some sit on a shelf for 6 months, as the players already have thier chosen armies. I have 5 base boxes sitting on a shelf for WM/hordes, so by bringing in a new product (gw in this case), and they have been there for as I stated earlier 6 months, the store does demos, had tourneys, and we have 2 fairly competive store armies, they just are not selling, so I am looking for a way to expand.

Carl
