In my up and coming Violators army, i will be magnetizing dozer blades for all the tanks (vindicator, predator, and a handful of rhinos)
With the exception of the vindicator, the dozer blades will be from the imperial guard tanks, and i want to adorn each one with some kind of free hand painting, be it symbols or words or slogans or what have you... but im having trouble on deciding on what exactly to put on them.
i had considered doing each one with a different part of the slaaneshi icon so that when arranged near each other it looked like one big symbol, but since i wont have them all attached usually, i decided against that...

so any ideas of what to put on them?
keep in mind my free hand skills are kind of lacking, however i have had relatively good success with graffiti style lettering (which was always my forte on paper)

Well, I'd try:

- Swirly designs. Quite loose, spaced out.
- Slaanesh Symbols coming off the designs, like leaves coming off a stock.

If you're not sure, I'd recommend you take the rough dimensions of the Dozer Blades, and draw a few boxes of that shape on paper. Then, use a pencil to sketch out some ideas. Then you can see which you like best, and try it on the Dozer Blades themselves!

I think you should do one or 2 dozer blades with the "naked lady" outline that is frequently found on truck mudflaps..

in day-glo colors of course..

maybe a little ambitious but I would love to see all the dozers lined up with an epic painting that stretches across all of them. maybe a scene that starts as an orgy on one side and gradually transitions to a bloody massacre on the other... something renaissance.

for slaanesh?

and as much as i would love to do something like that, it would end up looking like crap if i tried to do it haha

With only the slightest GS skills, every single one of those spikes would be replaced with a penis. Paint it pink, and you've got excess on wheels, if ever I saw it.

If you want some extra fun, get some glow in the dark paint for outlining the design.

with all skepticism of the correlation between penises and slaanesh aside, painting and modeling them just doesnt seem like a good time to me...

you know i think ive seen something almost like that. It was a older rhino painted neon pink with a large penis coming out of the front. Not the kinda thing id make...or field but it was a good gag.

Definitely go with some profanity if your group of gamers isn't offended by it. Boobs / Penisis (Penii?) / Vag. If they are I'd go with slaneshii symbols or just scantily clad & suggestive images.

Whatever image you chose (profanity, pin-up, gore) I think the background should be visually loud and psychedelic.

I dunno. That color scheme is more Tzeenchian to my eyes..

I think Slaaneshi would be more of a mono-chromatic color, taken to neon excess.
