So yeah, the title isn't that witty.

Figured might as well introduce myself. From Minnesota, just shy of St. Paul. 20 years old, few weeks away from the big day where I can get trashed legally. Polymer Chemistry major, theater minor (makes sense right). Go to UWRF.

Picked up 40k back in 3rd edition, then never played because I was like... 13 and the FLGS closed down. This summer I find another FLGS about 10 minutes from my house while at A&W, walked in, saw 40k, and it was enough to get me back into the game. I went from a Catachan Battleforce (the one with some troops, a leman russ, and 2 sententals) and a chimera to 5 Chimeras, 2 Hellhounds, a Manticore, Demolisher, Marbo, 20 stormtroopers, 10 snipers (1 to go actually, and 5 are warmachine rangers) that I play as ratlings. Plan on picking up probably another Hellhound, and moving on to getting more tanks and 2 Cadian Battleforces to fill up troop choices. Already have like... 2300 points just with models without any real additional wargear.

Funny, the store I play at, the old FLGS owner plays there all the time. All the guys my age that played for awhile all got into it because of his store, and now we get a new store, and a new group of youngins to get addicted to 40k.

Future plans are also probably going to be a Black Templar army, but it will be expensive as I don't want them to just look like the rest of the marines on the table with just different paint. First gotta get better at painting, and stop with the "looks good enough for now" Funny, I just started painting a few months ago, and I have come leaps and bounds to where I am stripping my first few painted to bring them up to standards. At least my first attempt is better than some of the stuff I have seen left at the FLGS.

At some point, I would also like to pick up a Fantasy army, and help get that started in the FLGS just so we have some variety. Also probably going to get into Warmachine. You would think I had expendable income by how much I spend.
