Every time I try to access the thread, specifically page 19, the whole site locks up.
This happens whether I try to access it through the forums or through my "Subscribed Threads" link.

I've even tried right clicking on it and opening it in a new window. This causes BOTH windows to lock up.

I've noticed that, though people DO seem to be posting in there, the traffic in it has slowed down dramatically. Could this be happening to more people? who are trying to read page 19 before going to page 20?

...Hmm... Probably important to note that, if I click on the link directly to page 20, it gets me there. It's only happening on page 19.

I went to page 20 & hit the "back" arrow key in the thread. It locked up then, too.

WHAT IS SO SECRET ON PAGE 19?
WHAT ARE YOU HIDING FROM ME, DAKKA?

: )

They seem to be OK for me which suggests it isn't server side anyway. To preempt Lego, have you tried clearing your browser cache and trying again?

If using IE, I think its Alt + F5

If you are on Firfox, there is an option to clear cache in the Tools menu

See the sticky thread at the top of nuts and bolts, that should fix it for you.

Thanks for reporting it too, it is a damn annoying bug that only recently came into existence from the server move. I'll squash it eventually.

A few times.
It's one I walk my customers through regularly.
Thanks, though.

Thanks, Lego!

Lego,
If the "sticky" in question was the one to delete cookies, it still isn't working.
The thread has started doing it again (pages 30 AND 31). I tried deleting cookie, cache (including offline files), and I'm not seeing any changes.

I even restarted IE.

hmm ok thanks I'll keep an eye on it. I'm not seeing anything odd in the logs but I'll look into it. Let me know if you see it happening on other threads as well please.

also I did restart the site yesterday so if you were signed in then it might have happened again since then. If you could try one more time that would be appreciated.

I can get to page 31 now, but still not 30.

Also, the cookie deletion was done approximately 2 minutes prior to my previous post.

Thanks!

: )

This pretty much sums up how I feel whenever I can't access something on Dakka . Of course, the other 99.99% of the time when I can, without any problems, goes unnoticed by me .

Sounds like the server move caused some headaches... thanks for keeping this thing running, Lego!!!

Funnily enough, seeing same issue in OT thread

http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/30/338952.page

I can see from the sub forum view that George Spiggott has posted a reply but on going into the thread, the last post I see is from Gorgon
