Some Armies (e.g Deamons) have no battleforce.

So, if you had to make up the forces for these armies, what would they look like??

They would probably look like a mess of plastic sprue in a rectangular box and some fancy art on the top.

I would love to give some, but rather I'll just say what I feel needs to exist:

Demons battleforce
Guard variant battleforces, we have catachans, how about the others!!! ><
A demonhunters battleforce (which will probably get fixed upon the grey knights codex release)
and a witch hunters battleforce (which will probably get fixed upon the relevant codex release, whenever it shows)

Daemons, since it all has to be plastic: & the total value of the SM force is $145

2 Unit of Blood Letters = 49.50
2 Unit of Pink Horros = 49.50
1 Daemon Prince = 33.00
1 Unit of Seekers = 24.75

Total of 156.75, About 10 bucks over the regular SM force.

Alternatively
2 units of Daemonettes
2 Units of pink horrors
1 unit of bloodcrushers

Total of about $152.75 so it's closer to the SM price.

Blood Angels Battleforce:

1 Tactical Squad (full) - USD 37.25
1 Assault Squad (full) - USD 57.50
1 Sangunary Priest - USD 15.00
1 Rhino - USD 33.00

Total - USD 142.75

Im thinking 10 Grey Knight terminators versus a new chaos unit (which I actually honestly thing should already be in 40k)

Cultist: Squad comp: 10 - 20. Guardsmen stats.

The equivalent of 10 Gk terminators is roughly 100 guardmen. SO! 100 cultists with CCWs and laspistols versus 10 TAGK.

AS IF THAT WOULDNT BE AWESOME FUN. TAGK wouldnt even have much of a chance, but it would be a hell of a slaughter before they died!

The problem with a Daemon Battleforce is that there are too many disparate units in a Daemon force. Any Battleforce would either contain a mishmash of units that don't work together or be skewed in favour of one (or two) Chaos Gods. And they're hardly going to make a Daemon Battleforce for each of the four winds of Chaos, are they?


As for the BA one, it's likely to be:

1 Furioso Dread
10 Tactical Marines
5 Assault Marines
5 Death Company Marines

5 Scouts

Scouts are to Marines what Berzerkers are to Chaos - they come with everything, even when you don't want them.
