A Pretty solid start, the skin looks really good.
I'd suggest adding some checks and dags here and there (sides of helmets, weapons, tabards, shoulder pads) and finish up all the minor detailing, but overall a great start.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

Best way to see what spots is to look at 'Eavy Metal's Orks (since they are Goffs) right?

The "Eavy Metal articles include a variety of various Ork tribes/clans,but IIRC the AOBR ones are supposed to be Goffs, You should be able to locate some pretty good hints for painting checks/dags in them.

As for "placement" I took the liberty of "borrowing" one of you Ork photos,to better show you what I mean concerning placement of clan markings, keep in mind it's very rough, and when it comes to Orks there is no hard and fast rule as to what goes where.

That is actually a pretty good start there! The only suggestion is that you paint the very minor details (jewelery, buckles etc) a good strong metallic colour to add interest and contrast, and pick out the straps and belts in a nice brown leather colour to break up the large areas of green and black on the arms and body

This looks shopped.

AresX8: Also, if this is your first painting attempt, I think I'm going to go ahead and give up now and have someone paint my stuff for me.
