I always used to pronounce it "space marine" - space as in outer space, and marine as in underwater. But after playing Dawn of War recently the space marine commander was pronouncing it "spess mehrine". Am I the only one who's apparently been saying it wrong for years? How do you guys pronounce space marine?

I have recently been diagnosed with swelling in the brain, so please excuse spelling mistakes and faulty sentences. I am losing my ability to type and talk effectively, but dammit, that is not going to stop me from trying.
