I very much like it, overall.
I have two minor critiques, though.
I don;t think the blue wing on boltgun will be noticeable from a distance. I would have gone for a brighter color.
The gold is to muddled. I would think it should be shinier.

The dark gold makes me think dark and gothic, bright makes elegant come to mind. Not bad at all, and for the first time I realized he has a half mask! Good work

For table top gaming this is very nice indeed. I like the various layers of colours on the gold. Gives it a worn appearance. I agree the blue doesnt really stand out but I dont think thats important. Maybe just give a stronger highlight (light blue)?
If you're after a high quality paintjob then you may want to gun down on drybrushing. Although quick and easy, it does givea "messy" appearance. I try to blend and paint on my detail, although harder to do and more time consuming.
Keep up the great work mate!

Hey Guys,
A few things,
- the blue wings were at my friends request. I would have done them different but thats how he wanted them, its his mini, so it's his way.
- the gold, yes I wanted it shiny and dirty. In hand, the effect I think is achieved, through a camera not so much
- drybrushing, there is no drybrushing on this model except for a very very very tiny bit of the boltgun, I am not sure where you are referencing that I tone down the drybrushing as there was so very little done on this mini
You also have to realize this mini's picture has been blown up to what... 100% ?
I appreciate all comments guys, if you are only looking at the picture, please reference the youtube link for further review.
Cheers!

The blue is no problem for me, and you did what your friend wanted, not to mention a pretty well standard, lucky guy.
Drybrushing is not a bad thing..

I quite like it. Gold easily takes on and causes shadows. This has a much more real effect to it I feel. The video especially shows it.

That looks really good, I really like your freehand. I think if you want more of a shiny gold look, I would do some highlighting with gold then line it with silver.
