Hey, I was wondering what peoples opinions are on what brand of carry case is best? I used to have the old GW one, but that was quite expensive.

I've switched my own stuff from a variety of cases over to Battlefoam. Traveling to a tournament with 1 bag that has wheels and packs all my stuff including delicate forge world pieces, books, dice, rulers, hobby tools, paints etc, and is expandable just by zipping on another bag? genius. I use a 1520, then a pack plus, and a 216 on top with my paints and tools.
Going to make the Adepticon trip a lot simpler.

PELICAN
The Best!
Get your foam and inserts wherever, or custom craft them, or use the break out foam available from Pelican itself for any of their cases.
None of the little gamer bags even come close. But then:

these might be out of your price range.
They even make cases in the maximum carry on bag size for travel. PELICAN 1510.

I do like the Pelican stuff if you're going to ship stuff.

I have bags from three companies, GW, Feldherr and KR. The best quality I would have to say Feldherr has but KR wins when you look at the quality to price ratio hands down.

In th UK, KR Multicase. The cardboard one is great value and unless you are travelling abroad [and therefore leaving it in some one elses care] offers more than enough protection. They also offer metal case (I have one of those) and numerous other options. Their store price include P&P which is nice but I beleive that others (Wayland etc) sell them cheaper. Battlefoam do offer the best quality product but I can not just justify the price to you bearing in mind the above. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also Feldherr if you want something purdy but not expensive.

My x-mas gift to myself was a nerd purse to carry my little pewter mans. I went with Portable Warfare and I couldn't be happier.
It's similar to the Sabol cases but both the top and bottom unzips, giving you access to all of your trays at once. Their brand of foam is also really nice and has rounded edges making it easier to pull out of the top.

I got a battlefoam case in November and will never settle for anything less again. The precut foam is fantastic and models fit very well. The cases are also very sturdy.

I liked my Sabol cases, then I received a Battlefoam case from my parents. Seriously top quality.

Apparently Battlefoam are the best quality - I know a few people with one and they ARE very good cases. However, they are ridiculous, ruinously expensive, especially if (like me) you have lots of different armies.
I use KR multicases. The basic cardboard ones are great for storage, they have various other solutions for travel, their foam cuts are great, and they are MUCH cheaper than anything else on the market.

I really like the Battlefoam cases that I bought, but something about Romeo rubs me the wrong way. Maybe its because he turned 40k Radio into nothing more than a two hour long advertisement for Battlefoam. But as I said, the cases are fantastic and they will be the only source for my foam needs from here on out.

Well, I'll be another person putting in a vote for KR - very good value, and the aluminium cases are actually really nice, though the glossy finish does tend to scuff something awful.
Nevertheless, KR all the way for me!

This may or may not be well known, but a Battlefoam tray happens to be about the same dimensions as two standard sabol trays. Meaning that the Motorpool fits them very well, and the Division will fit them and you can squeeze a stack of standard sabol trays in there as well. I know because I use them that way myself.
