Might not be horrible.
You do have a small number of boyz in your list for a 1500 point army. The only thing I would say is get rid of the 2 KMB on the deffdread, replace it with something less expensive and more usefull. Like anything really. Use the extra points you save else where.

Trucks are horrible units Id would drop them and replace them with BW if you wanna go mech.
Lootas should be run in units of 5 or 15 nothing in between
looted wagons are horrible its a sub par leman russ with a 1 in 6 chance of misbehaving
Deff dreds are horrible and even worse when fielded solo
Actually other then getting the HQ choices and deff kopters right the rest of the list is just horrible.
Now go to your room and think about what you did wrong =)

I'm not too sure about this list..
I think you could spend your points better tbh..
If you're going to keep lootas i'd definitely boost the squad up to 15.
IMO I think it would be better to drop the grots, deff dread, looted wagons and trukks and replace it all with Battle wagons for your squads with deff rollas or something.
Cause really looted wagons are crappy, grots are there to get shop up, deff dreads will still be walking along the board while your trukks and boys are already into the fray, and lets face it, deff rollas will give your boys decent protection, as well as looking scary and packing a punch

Drop them for BWs with deffrollas, keep grots as they can shield lootas of hold objectives.
Add killa kans with spare points.

Warboss is ok, Big Mek is ok, Deffkopters are ok so are Lootas.
Trukks are utter rubbish as they are too weak and the units of Boyz instead do not last 5 minutes. Merging two Trukk Boyz units into a single Wagon unit costs about the same.
Single Deff Dread will fall back and Looted Wagons are rubbish.

Orks biggest advantage is not their numbers - it is in their versatility to theme an army that is incredibly powerful in many different ways - a huge swarm of boys is one of those themes, but not what in itself makes Orks powerful.
The OP's issue is that his army has no theme. The units in his list don't mesh together on the battlefield and support each other.

I don't know why people say Trukks are rubbish, for a very cheap amount they are fast and useful, sure they will likely be exploded by the end of the game, but their only purpose is to move your boyz 19' a turn and then drop them off the next, like a taxi thats likely to blow up soon afterwards. If you are going for the Mech list, go all out I say, and cram it full of Killa Kans and 2 Deff Dreads (with two big meks each only takes up a troop choice*) Have a few boyz accompany the Big Meks and have them there for KFF, to give cover save to all your walkers. Give all the Kans Kustom Mega blastas and you have 9 decent shooters who can hurt all but Land Raiders and Monoliths at range, and can even hurt land raiders if they get close enough.

Are you trolling? This is horrible advice bordering on cruel if someone actaully follows it and ends up buying a useless collection of models.
Trucks are garbage not because they always blow up by the end of the game but because they always blow up at the end of the first turn and then have a 1 in 3 chance of scattering and sending your boyz of in a useless direction.
And who the feth puts kustom mega blasters on anything? They are overpriced for what they do and orks kill ap2 by causing a gakload of wounds not by bringing a few crappy ap 2 guns.
I am going to assume that you do not play many games, cant mathhammer and loose alot

Viable Ork Lists:
Battlewagon brigade - lots of boyz in BWs, deffrollas, KFF mek, nob and warboss bikers + some grots and lootas.
Kan wall - 3 units of 3 killa kans with rokkits, with a KFF mek, and enough boyz behind it to back it all up + some grots and lootas.
(Kinda works) Grot wall - Line of grots 2-3 deep w/ 45 lootas behind it, and whatever else you can cram in + koptas to contest their objectives at the last moment.

I can see your list working, though as an option... you could ditch one of the looted boom-wagons and replace it with 3 killa kans with rokkits or grotzookas if ya tweak the points right!
Also... trukks are awesome, dont let anyone tell ya different! I've had tons of success with em, so have at it!

As the OP I just wanted this list to be more fun than competitive. Sure I wanted some good elements like the Lootas but the Boomguns, trukks, and Deff Dread are gambles/shannanigans that I plan to take because when they work, they make their points back 10-fold. (perhaps not the Deff Dread, but man does he soak up fire. Perhaps I'll throw in some Kommandos over the Deff Dread and Looted Wagons.

Grots x10 w/ runtherd - 40

-10 flash gitz w/ more dakka - 300

Can be really fun with some luck.
Kommandoes all over the enemy, gitz 5 wide 2 deep each, spread out grot squad to cover them, big mek hides on objective with other grots.
Face it, 60 S5 AP? is gonna hurt the enemy if you pop their vehicles with kommandoes. Same with the SAG. This list theoretically kicks ass against MEQ surprisingly well for it's stupidity level. Must try it some time.

Then what exactly was to be gained by posting it on dakka? Nothing wrong with a fun list but if your posting on a forum its assumed your trying to make a competive list.

The name of the post should of told you it's a fun list. My guess is it's themed around using scrap vehicles and such. So quite being asshats.
Sticking to the theme Junkyard Orks personally I would swap out the warboss for a another big mek with either another KFF or a SAG. I would definitely add some Burna Boyz since they would love to hang out in a Junkyard all day. My Trukks would be modeled to look more like tow trucks. Also I would lose one or two of the Looted Wagons to add a unit of Killa Kanz.

Never liked how everyone's always "Oh, you have to have this, this and this in the most chaotic army fluff-wise" about Orks. I say go with the original post. Seems strong enough to me, with a couple squads of boyz for rushing the front lines, Grotz for holding home objectives, mid-sized Loota squad for taking potshots across the board, and if I read it right, those Looted Wagons are for the Boomgunz, so probably won't be moving that much.
Only thing I'd suggest is maybe replace one of the Looted Wagons with a Battlewagon, just to have that extra presence on the board, and the option of a deffrolla or greater transport. And with the Killcanon upgrade (yeah, you lose some transport capacity) you're getting a weapon only one point less 'strong' than the Boomgun, but otherwose pretty similar.

THANK YOU! Finally, someone else sees the benefit! I thought I was going crazy for a while, with everybody gushing about Rokkit Kanz and nobody seeming to notice that, hey, for five points more, you can have AP 2!
Though honestly I find that you might as well take KMBs on Deffkoptaz (at least I do) with the speed at which they die. Though perhaps the twin-linkage might be worth the extra 5 points...

Though I do have to agree with Boris, Dreads do soak up huge amounts of fire, and KMBs or Shootas on them instead of flamers mean that they're still a threat even when immobilized, soaking up even more fire.
And Kanz are absolutely brilliant in CC against vanilla marines (w/out PF), because they're all but immune to 'nades.

Anyway, why do you say KMB's are overpriced? They are only 5 points more than Rokkit Launchas, and they seem to almost always be the better choice on Kanz unless you are really swamped for points. They have 1 less AP, same range, same strength, with Get's Hot! - which won't apply to his Kan. He can take out Terminators and any other +2 Sv models with no problem and no drawbacks from KMB on Kanz. Granted, I personally wouldn't use it on any other unit, but it seems to made perfectly for the Kan application.
THANK YOU! Finally, someone else sees the benefit! I thought I was going crazy for a while, with everybody gushing about Rokkit Kanz and nobody seeming to notice that, hey, for five points more, you can have AP 2!
Though honestly I find that you might as well take KMBs on Deffkoptaz (at least I do) with the speed at which they die. Though perhaps the twin-linkage might be worth the extra 5 points...
KMB on deff kopters aint twin linked so you paying an extra 5 points for a weapon that wont hit anything (BS2 with TL=55% chance of hitting) as opposed to a 1 in 3 without TL and also never ever take boomguns on BWs why give up the ability to drop 20 models off into CC on turn 2 for a sub par battlecannon?

Also KMB is 5 points less, still sucks though.
