In the dex you can get 3 from heavy support, 3 from Elite choice Nobs, and 2 more if you take 2 Warbosses and get 2 Nobs mobs for troops. Figured with 8 Deffrollas running around the table that's gotta hurt.

No KFF at 2,000 pts...you'll never make it across the board. Razorback spam would own this.

As good as having nobz is, I have to agree. without KFF meks you're not getting across the table with those wagons

I'm not sure that is true. With the deff rollas for re rolling terrain, you can choo-choo train them up the board. 2 columns of 4 with the third wagon in each carrying troops. At worst your dealing with 3rd turn rams, which is doable.

Even with 8 front AV14 vehicles? Maybe 1 or 2 wont make it, then the other 6 will have Deffrollas to dish out still. I see this list being able to take out mass Landraiders and Monoliths with ease...

Why choose to have the survivability of 8 wagons, when you can throw away a wagon and put in a KFF Mek, and force multiply the survivability of your wagon to 14 (7x2) ?

i would change the Elite nobs into Mega Nobs.
you would be saving some points and you can still pull wound allocation things.

I think six wagons is more viable, broken into groups of three, with two KFF Big Meks protecting.

He did because I was also orks, and had serious trouble neutralizing the armor. Just kept getting run over and over and over...

The main problem I see with this list is all you have are the 8 BW. After that you only have 17 infantry models. 8 AV 14 may be a problem, but putting down 17 models even w/ FNP at 2k points really isn't hard. You have no ranged AT fire and mobile transports will eat you alive.
If my Tau list were to see this across the table My only real fear would be for my pathfinders, and maybe my broadsides(And I suppose my kroot, but they exist only to die anyhow; I'd outflank and hope for a late arrival w/ them). I deploy back field as far as possible from you. At this point you either spread them across the board allowing me to refuse flank and only fight a few at at time. Or you bunched them up in the center, buying me another turn as I castle up in a corner. Everything else I have is either on a vehicle w/ multi-tracker or a mobile suit. W/ Railguns and markerlights (I'm assuming you got first turn here, the other way around and it only gets worse for you) You have 2-3 BW at about the 24" line. I light 2 up w/ markerlights and apply broadsides (That should kill/stun one of them open topped and AP1 werapon means 3+to destroy) I then have 2 hammerheads to maneuver around for side shots (2 railgun shots on side armor should be another easy pen) After this I have 2 Squads of suits firing missiles (going for side armor as they have mobility, I maybe get a pen on another one.)
Turn 1 and I've stopped 2-3 of them already and I still have at least one more turn or more till you get to my lines. Even once you get to my lines w/ the wagons you are trying to ram vehicles w/ a 3+ skimmer save vs rams.
Admittedly this is probably about the worst match-up you could have (I take that back. IG vendetta spam would hurt a bit as well, and don't even think about trying to catch mechdar or any raider/ravager DE builds). This may work on other builds w/ mobile AT to flank for the AV 12 Shots.
As has been suggested in the other posts, KFF would help immensely. (Since markerlight pathfinders can't really move, I'd only get to use them for 2-3 turns and I wouldn't count on any kills from missile pods if you are packing cover.)

Yep.
My Dark Eldar would love to play this, yes please! I'm going to flat out a single empty vehicle 1" away from you, and right in front of you - if you're making a big wall of these, I'll give you two vehicles tail to tail, but with a gap between as big as allowable that you can't fit through.
Now, you can either attempt to ram me (3+ dodge, and you moving 1" to get the strength of your hit), or you can go around. And the whole game, I'm going to be smacking you with dark lances and blasters that you won't be able to respond to. I may not even need to sacrifice vehicles to impede movement; so many choices.
My Orks have played against this - and Lootas on each flank to blast at side armor, deffkoptas to assault rear armour and stop the charge across the table....and then its a matter of maneuvering - trying to line up whose battlewagons are going to end up inside the 12" mark for who gets to deffrolla.

Short version- 8 Battlewagons is a novel idea. It could scare the pants off of a novice player as he suddenly thinks 8 AV 14 front monster-things are homing in on him. In the end, maneuvering around the swarm of BWs is easy. and without A KFF Big Mek, it becomes really hard to protect the BWs from getting destroyed, especially by anything coming up from behind or side armor with meltas. Not too much inside BWs that can counter attack the meltas. The numerous posters before me have done a good job outlining all the various ways that this last can be stomped. The best suggestion is to take a max of 4-5 BWs at this point cost and invest the other points in Deffkoptas, Lootas, KFF, and other things synergistic with your list.

+1 to this. Nothing but BW aint that scary. 4-5 w/ support is something I have to stop and think about.

Personally, I usually play at 1850 and could only squeeze 3 wagons in with a trukk. I take Ghaz however for his great abilities and fearsome combat prowess, so if I dropped him and replaced with crappier Warboss, could add in 4 altogether, but miss out on Fearless Waaagh!s and 6" fleets.

No KFF at 2k=bad
Painboys protecting 3 Nobs=Bad FNP is cool, but it's spending 50 points to protect 3 models. For 10 more points you could just buy 3 more nakid nobs and double the squad size from 3 to 6.
4-5 wagons with a KFF seems like a much better balanced list.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

You need the KFF and/or more support...I'd drop the painboys in your nob squads and add more nobz to the squad size...If you don't want to put in the KFF then add some bikes...at least you could use them for some mobile cover, and drop one or two battle wagons...and give the others better weapons then Bigshootas. Like putting killkannons on the heavy support wagons. You also NEED boyz!!! If this is a 2k list then I'd say you'd need at least 60 boyz. Think about it
