Last night (bored) I was on wikipedia and wookipedia looking up star wars characters.
After I got done with the obscure ones and started looking at Vader and Luke...I started clicking kids of theirs, nephews, neices, all along the Solo and Skywalker family lines. Most of it Canon.
This family tree is in desperate need of some family counciling.
The Skywalker family is so disfunctional it's amazing. Their history is rife with patricide, going evil, coming back, killing of one's sister/brother, constant VIOLENT fighting. I mean, this family needs to get together for X-mas or something and bury the hatchet. Use that lightsaber to carve some turkey instead of chopping off your son's hand or killing your Uncle Luke before you get run thru by your sister for getting angry a little too often.
GEEZ.
If you think your family is bad, check it out. You'll feel better.
Yea, they do indeed have a pretty messed up family. Makes me glad I only have to yell at my kids every once in awhile. No worries of a light saber to the gut........not a real one anyways
Then there's the theory that Darth Plagus the Wise (who could create life using the the force and taught Palpatine) is the one who REALLY created the Skywalker line.

Oh, let's not go down the Star Nerd road about things like that.
Just all agree that the Skywalkers are F'ed in the A, and that the Enterprise can defeat a Star Destroyer.

No it isn't. I just want to be friends.

Very clever trolling there. I give it an A-.

Which part was trolling?
I am inclined to agree with you about the Skywalkers bit, though I think trolling is a strong word. I'd be more inclined to call it just making a joke.
The Enterprise wrecking a Star Destroyer is just a fact, however.
OP: I really like your Avatar. Also, I agree with your premise. Imagine if your father was born slave owned by a bug-elephant-fairy and grew up to be a whiny little bitch that would ultimate hack up a bunch of children?

I thought it was just Palpatine that did that? He learned how to do it from Plagus, then offed him.
Although, considering how terrible the new films are... this can probably be ignored.
I prefered when Vader was a dark mystery to be honest, not a bitchy psychopath. (What is up with him killing all those kids? WTF were you thinking Lucas? You gak headed freak.)

I thought it actually was "literal" balance to the force and they misinterpreted the prophecy?
You know, as in before the tragedy there were many many Jedi and some Sith, but by the end of the first three, you only have Obi and Yoda for the light, and Vader and Sidious for the dark.
Its like ying and yang baby!

whatwhat wrote:Is this Plagus in the films or in one of the books?
He's mentioned in ep3 but it wouldn't surprise me if he was in a book. Everything is in a book, they are chock full of various continuity references some of which would drive the sanes of people mad. According to one book for instance, the bounty hunter IG88 was one of 4 linked droids, we only see one onscreen in the film but two are killed offscreen and the third was the dead one you see for a second in the trash room on Bespin. The fourth went to the Death Star 2 and downloaded himself into the computer and became a planet sized robot intelligence. Then he would goof around making doors close in the Emperor's face letting people think it was just teething problems in the newly built battlestation. I'm not making this up. Of course he was then blown up at the end of Return of the Jedi...
I'm aware there are a lot of crapy star wars books. I just wondered whether the Plagius stuff came from the books or the films. I have only ever read shadows of the empire and that's got the main characters in it: Luke, Han, Leia etc. I've never really been in to the whole Star Wars universe outside of the first three films.

Darth whatever his face is is both; he has mention in Eposide 3 and also has his works and life expanded upon in the Extended Universe.
Yeh you'd think if your whole thing is being evil and you're teaching another person your evil ways, trusting him might not be the wisest thing to do.
ANd anyway I don't buy this Skywalker was created by Plagus/Sidius. Isn't Anakin/Vader essentially supposed to be a good person undernath it all? That was kind of the idea in Empire/ROTJ at least.

Yes Enterprise>Star Destroyer. They have the technology to turn energy into matter, including complex organic molocules and they use it to make ice cream and do Sherlock Holmes cosplay. They are levels and levels beyond anything in the Star Wars Universe. Oh and they can travel through time too.
But Darth Plageous the Wise can beat the Enterprise.
