Gw have added a few new scenarios, set around/during the 3rd war for Armegeddon. presumably this relates to the fact that they have been refighting (again..) this campaign in the design studio.

2nd mission looks the coolest to me.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all

A little random, no? If they really want to do something useful they'll release all the Apoc Datasheets that were in WD but never made it to the website.

I don't like the thematic shift from Guard to Marines for Armageddon. but whatever. The scenarios look pretty fun, and I'm glad they weren't afraid to really change the game - some of the Battle Missions are a little too samey.

Anyone spot which table edge the IG forces have to move off of in the first mission? The opposite one, I assume, but I didn't see it spelled out...
I like the 2nd mission. "Sudden Death" game conditions can be fun. That looks like a mission that would have high replayability, testing out different strategies with the same force.

Was literally typing something similar when I saw your post.
I dont get it at all. if its the Ork deployment zone then they have to move 24" + X" for the Ork deployment zone (since its "depth" isnt specified).
If its any table egde why not simply deploy your entire force on the edge and move off turn one. Scenario over

Hah! I was also puzzled on this one. It would have to be the ork's side, right?

But how deep is the Ork deployment zone then?
Pity because I think it looks like a fun mission overall.

Well, assuming it's played on a standard sized board ( ie 48" across) then 12".
