Well, I'm looking ahead to the third and final Platinum Devil here in Canterbury gentlemen. Looking at my term dates, in order to do the usual, I'd be looking at either the 9th and 10th April, or possibly the 11th and 12th of June. Thoughts on when it would be convenient for you? This will possibly be the last one (as I finish University), and whilst I may attempt to shift it elsewhere in London, I've no guarantee of that. So if you haven't been to one, and would like to, chip in now with when it would be convenient for you!

April would suit me better. June conflicts with possible Birthday activities for me.

Also looking forward to PD going full time for you Ben. I am assuming that wargames event management is what you studied?

I can't yet be sure about either date. June is probably slightly better. Whichever it is, there is a strong likelihood I will only be able to attend Saturday. I would very much like to attend again though.

Unfortunately Chris, I book the rooms from the Masters Assistant, which means I technically have to book it in term time. Otherwise I have to start dealing with a whole other level of bureaucracy, and room rental, fees, etc. So it would be either the end of term 2 or 3 I would be looking at (although if I'm lucky,I might be able to book mid term 3).

Any time I don't have to worry about snow stopping play would be great

Aaargh - I can't do either of the weekends you've suggested. Any point AFTER that weekend in April, until the end of May is fine for me, but then June is pretty busy...

Note KK subtly making reference to his cool job there. Let me try... I can't do April because I will be at conference about the benefits of bus deregulation. Nope, doesn't quite have the same cool factor does it.

Both dates are out for me unfortunately. Mother-in-law's 60th Birthday in April and friend's wedding in June. Shame, I'd have liked to have given this a go, even though it would have meant building an army from scratch. Will keep an eye open for any possible future Platinum Devil dates...

What's the points?

The census on this one seems to be that different months are bad for different people for different reasons.

I think I'll just go and see what's available date wise, and book for what seems appropriate.

Ketara, you have my vote. I think I'm far more likely to be able to attend with no impedement from illness and adverse weather.

Either date right now seems OK, will check the calendar but I reckon we'll be alright. If you want to move it to London or nearer me, I'm sure there's plenty of Dakkaites (myself included) who'd love to help you out.
