Using the models i have this is what i have worked up with my tau army for our 1850 friends tournament. I find keeping flechette launchers great considering i fight orks and nids a lot this is an all comers list any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated. Ideally the drones harass and tie up various units for a turn sometimes 2. Any recommendations on deployment as well are appreciated I got wiped with my 1500 list against space marine drop pod assault, but faired great against ork bikers due to my firewarriors high strength gun.

Your suit count is REALLY low. I would consider dropping a firewarrior team and a gun drone squadron for another set of suits (either deathrain or helios perhaps?) and some Kroot.

I might consider also dropping the Shas'O to a Shas'El and just hardwiring a Targeting Array, as you will save some points, and unless you're planning on assaulting or being assaulted, the WS isn't doing much for you.

I agree for the most part, but Shas'O do have an extra wound which can be really helpful if there is a lot of shooting at them in a turn. Firewarrior teams don't really do that much good, I only take them if they have a Devilfish, if they aren't mobile they can quickly get bogged down.

Stealth suits... can be good if your opponent doesn't know how to counter them...

I find gun-drones better than a kroot-bubble-wrap, because they have smaller units so you don't lose as many points in 1 assault, and they can also move around faster... and if you're lucky you can pin a unit.

I would agree that your HQ is very expensive. I would really suggest getting a base Commander:

Shas'el (PR/MP/TA/HWMT) - 97 (87 if you don't get a TA)

Your commander isn't that much better, and he is 60 points more...

For 1850, you are very low on crisis suits. I see that you don't have any more... so I would suggest buying 3-6 more.

I don't like stealth teams, if they work for you, keep them. If not, ditch them.

I would make your devilfish a full-fledged warfish w/ SMS/TA/MT/D-Pods, and the Fletchette Dischargers since you like them.

Pathfinders don't need their devilfish. Markelights are a heavy weapon, so if you embarck or disembarck, you can't fire them. I would get rid of one of the devilfish on your fire warrior units, and then give them the pathfinder deviflish.

Your broadsides are expensive... but they look fine, except for the multi-tracker. If you get a multi-tracker, I would get Plasma rifles with it. Who wants to fire SMS and a Railgun at the same target? One is tank killy, the other troop killy... Plasma Rifles would give you 3 High Strength AP 2/1 shots to fire.

At these points I would have also suggested more broadsides, but it seems that you don't have them.

Whichever they are, I'm not on the Reich ones, clearly.

Thanks for the feedback for now this is all the models i have i am going to get 3 more suits and will consider the warfish for the pathfinders as well deathrain is tl mp and flamer correct? would really like to do a set up like that and pull the stealth suits but we will see. I have had great luck with my firewarriors just disembarking shooting something and usually getting back in and flying away.
