Originator of Battlewagon Bitz, Rob Baer, is back in the bits sales business. Here's a link for his new Bits Store website:

Rob is a great guy and he also owns a brick-and-mortar game store in Richmond called FTW Games. If you're ever down that way, it's worth a look. FTW has a huge variety of product.

On a boat, Trying not to die.

This stuff is kind of expensive.

For the price of 15 Legs, one can get a DC or SG squad.

Also, $3 for a TH? GW sells them w/ SS for 15. That's way cheaper for twice the goods.

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

It looks promising, but he needs to get the prices sorted out. I guess he just tossed stuff up there and will fix it later.

After he tweaks the prices I will buy some stuff. For example he has the stormraven/vendetta flying stand for $11.99 and GW sells it for $10.

He needs to sort out prices. A good range of stuff, but there's a load of other websites which do it cheaper.

Well, he once did a bitz-store with cheaper prices and had to sell it. Selling the popular bitz for cheap and keeping the unwanted stuff doesn't work in the long run.

He didn't have to sell it, but at the time GW had forced him to have a brick-and-mortar store in order to also sell online and he decided it was too much hassle and sold the business. This time the brick-and-mortar came first, FTW Games, and he was already selling what he sells in FTW Games online too, the Bitz store is just now one more additional business.

You'd be suprised believe me. I throw all of the excess bits from my bis into a big bag and auction those off when they get full. In the long run every bit gets used by people, and nothing ever goes to waste.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

I am indeed in the process of doing that. :-)
I agree there are others out there. But in the end (I know at least for me) I would rather but form someone who is reachable and doesn't hide behind an eBay username or website with no contact info.
Thanks for the comments and concerns. I will do my best to make things better for everyone.

The one I use on Ebay is Hoard of Bits, which may be useful comparison for prices.

Best of luck to you!

Yay, a bitz seller who sells things in 5's! That's something that annoys me, almost all bits sellers break down sets into individual pieces to get the most back, when if they sold things in 5's for a reasonable price they'd sell more imo (considering hardly anyone else does it).

Hoard of bits is good like that, they also sell complete sections, for instance all the parts to build both wheels off a doomwell, as opposed to selling each part individually.

I use the same, it's the best bitz store in the world. I've never seen anyone with prices like theirs. Then again I only buy from the auctions since you can get almost anything for cheap. Buy all the bits to a set and you usually get it for 50% RRP.
Depends on demand and luck though.

I could do a shameless plug but I won't . Although most of us used hoard o bits as the business model for ebay sales.

Agreed on Hoard o Bits being the example most bits sellers should try to follow. I was a user of the original BWB, but haven't used it but once or twice since it was sold to TWS due to their rather high pricing (for example, the Land Raider assault cannons that are 4-5 dollars more than the GW price for the entire sprue and GW gives me free shipping). If the prices come down to around the same as EBay pricing I would use Spikey Bitz instead.

I couldn't agree more. I'm in the process of adding more BITS products and tweeking the prices a bit. Everything is an ebb and flow with bits. It's good to be back. :-) and I'm glad to see the BWB love!

Agreed with the rest - if the bit isn't cheaper than GW or the GW sprue, why bother?
