Hello. I am trying to get in touch with the powers that be in Dakka Dakka. My buddies and I have a Huuuuuge 70,000 pt Apocolypse (40k) game scheduled at the end of February for which we are doing a Video Battle Report. The interesting thing about this game is that every single model on the board will be FULLY PAINTED. Yes, 70,000 pts of FULLY PAINTED models on 1 Apoc board. On top of that, there will be hoardes of very cool models such as titans, baneblades, forgeworld flyers, other forgeworld stuff, and even an Imperator Titan.
So that brings me to the point...We want to post our battle report on Dakka somehow. If we're going through all that effort, we want it to be shared! Do you know how we can get in touch with the main man/men/woman/women in charge? Thanks!

You are aware there is a Battle Reports section, right?

Put it in the Warhammer 40,00 battle reports section of the forum?

Yakface is the overlord of Dakka he may have some other ideas.

A recent large Apoc game went up in News and Rumours. They had girls there though...

There's always youtube. Dakka supports tags for embedding youtube video.

If you're asking about hosting it ON the site, you'd better contact yakface
directly and have something that's not just a taping of the game. No shaky
cam, as little background noise as possible, clear analysis and commentary
that's not necessarily done on the spot.

You know, editing.

Of course, you could always go the photographs route and make a battlereport
for the forums or for the articles section here...

Upload to Youtube --> Battle Report section --> New topic --> Add [ youtube]url to vid[/youtube ] without the spaces. Then you wait.

I think Lego would need to be asked because I don't think videos can be uploaded to the site to begin with. It would also take up a fair amount of the server resources so embedded Youtube is the better option.

Looking forward to seeing that many painted models in one game.

You could put it into an Article, with a link to a Youtube video and a turn-by-turn analysis in the article, which should be chock-full of picture-y goodness.

But yeah, I'd love to see that, sounds like it'll be fun.

That would be awesome! I've been seaching for another Imperator to fight! A loyalist one preferably. We'll have to make it happen someday....maybe we can meet half way. heh heh (I guess we'd have to waterproof our titans....

And sorry guys, I didn't realize there was a battle report topic. I'll post there when it's done! Thanks for the advice.
