Now That is what I'd call "skinning"- Great job!- your camera is focusing on the background stuff, that's why it's blurry. If your camera doesn't have the little targeting focus feature, then I'd shoot with a piece of paper or something behind it. It'll force the auto focus to work on the foreground image.

that comment would have the flying all right... if for the sole fact that i have eaten already with the kids at the kitchen table... be sure of that...
the pacthwork looks truly stunning... the orky feel is getting forth in big leaps now!!! and once the riveting work is hitting that beast it will be truly amazing!...
may i ask how you will rivet that? i have a suggestion... try to do a riveting pattern that has it two ways... first try to rivet it as if it was minit looking without the added patches... so regular lines of rivets and then rivet the patches in the needed pattern of the patches... i think this will add a great air of orkyness!!!... and you should definatly do something for your picturetaking... those pics do no credit for that hard work you put in with that model...!!!
and i am truly sorry for having overlooked your thread the past day... all the other threads have pushed this one in the background... so that happens if i am not on one day...tstststs...

LOL! Okay, so no flakes flying! 
So, look at the plates and you will see how rivets will be applied some will be the straight lines from the looted Imperial materials, and then the plates will have their own.
Wing plates are done and so are the patches for the leading edges

cool looking! what kind of riveting methode will you be using with this one? glue rivets again? or will you cut up rods?... actually for this one i would suggest the later... the rounded glue ones might look a bit out of place... tho with the mentioned IG salvaged stuff you could even use two sets of rivets...

I'm gonna have to go with PVA rivets as they are the thing I have the most of to work with.

No worries, I got it to work, and wow , this is the most rivet heavy piece of mine to date! So, here are some pics of the rivets, but it will show more once I spray primer on it.
