It can drop bombs on a stormblade! LOL!I must take pics of the present work and planned added panels Enjoy the fresh update folks.

Planned rudder sections once the panels are beefing up the main surfaces

Patched sharkfin

Fairings for the wings

I also have to add some tilted up wing sections now that the main wing is done, this will add a somewhat stuka like effect that I saw on an old Starblazer episode, Gamillons had the largets variety of carrier planes.

Shas, go onto ebay and search for ork glyphs, you can get a gak ton of resin plates to weld, glue, and even rivet onto that beast of a thing!!! plus they are cheap from what I remember too!!!

looks great! the tail really came out great too. it looks very nice with the wings pointing inwards! HA! not to talk about the sharkfin on the back! man that really adds to the look! xD

i also think that the stuka look will turn out just as great as everything else on this monster has

but how big is it in overall? in width and length? is it about the same size of a marauder?

That's what you need to do, loot a thunderhawk! although if you try to steal a thunderhawk your boyz my lose all of their currency in the attempt. i hear space marines don't take kindly to looting their rides! Also i dont think i've ever had large bits such as that just layin about... are you sure they're bits and not just a kit you misplaced and somehow didn't put together? lol anyway it's lookin good, can't wait to see some flames (rust) on that ork toof' bomma!

Dont worry we wont hurt it, just make it better.... all those squishy guardsmen inside the tank started to rust it out, so we put some crazy hardened battle vet space marines in it and now it actually kills things! and by things i mean orks.

Well, if I were to doa looted T-hawk, I would have needed a bit more plasticard, but I used that on superheavy tanks T-400 and T-300!

Not all Chapters remove the gibblies, but some do a chem treatment that avoids such "distractions" in the head as the brain is the most powerful organ for that. Well, the Space Vikings tend to leave that alone altogether. After all, when you slay aliens and monsters all day, you have to have something besides drink and stories afterwards.

Hey, hand me some material to work with and I will fire it off! Speaking of material, I almost forgot to post pics! Size matters!

Both planes from the front
[/img]

From the side, Big Bomma is directly over the MiG
[/img]

Dakka MiG sitting on Big B
[/img]

Big B maybe oughta be BIG B
[/img]

Second wing segment added on,
[/img]

The angle
[/img]

far shot to show how big it is. Very shady under the wing!
[/img]

That "It's coming to eat you" pose shows it all off

Yep, at first I thought it was the right size, then I got looking at pics online of the FW fighta bomma and well, it became apparent I had a monster on my hands back in 2011.

Man it looks so much better with the new wing segment on!

I forgot there for a sec that you were going to to them there.. they look really too small when compared to the Dakka-mig and it had the same lenght
Can you please measure the wingspan on that thing now with the fancy new wingtips are in place

Great job anyways!! what's next?

Dakka-MiG wingspan= 9.5 inches or 24cm

Big Bomma Wingspan=17.5inches or 44.5cm roughly speaking

Haha nice! that's only 0.5 cm shorter than the marauder

now that i saw the skyshark in profile i got an idea.. I love the fin it currently has and all. But what if you could squeeze in another fin? A little bigger one right ontop of the turret?
And I took the liberty of stealing your pic, get some training in paint and made a fast sketch of what I was thinking about.

And in this way it has a fin but can still rotate the turret Plus it looks really good with the smaller one at the back.
Well anyways, as I said it's only an idea but i thought it looked quite cool

Hey your desk looks vaguely familiar.... Oh yeah! it looks a bit like mine..... oh and i do believe i see some microsoft paint in that last pic or maybe the orks just imagined a turret gunner was there and he was, i hear if they're red they go faster? but of course that preposterous as any sane inquisitor would know!

I thought about it, but honestly the layout of the seats is not that clear cut, very assymetrical and a fin there would not truly work as well as you'd think.

You would face 5 mobs of various sizes of slugga/shoota/'ardboyz, trukks, battlewagons, one with a deffrolla, various buggies/skorchas/ killa kans, a deff dredd named "Huggah", burna boyz/Kommandos/ stormboyz/ several Nob skwads, the 5 bruvvas Notz, 9 deff coptas, a stompa, the dakka-MiG, da Big Bomma, and Lootas rounded out by a grot mob and a guy what might be zogworts and a couple madd docs All said about 7-8k of Orky goodness!

Even the Orks ned practical for getting into the cocpits as they do climb up and down into them. It was quite the bit to settle those stations where they were, so the only practical place for a fin was where it is.

Then again, if I ever do another Big Bomma, no two are ever the same....

yes by all means... rivet that thinbg up for good^^

the turret will be quite good looking with that lil grot inside... i like how you went to cover the sides of that thing on the hull... what will it resemble once it is finished? cloth or will you add more grey stuff to make it metal looking?

and boy... you have quite the crowded workspace^^
