2 minutes after I took these photos the camera slipped out of my hand and onto the table which knocked this poor bastard onto the floor. The Thunder Hammer arm broke off but amazingly the hammer stayed intact!

Here's another WIP of some arco-flagellant's for my Radical Daemonhunters army.  Same story different miniatures; I'm cheap/broke and GW charges too much money.

Anyway these were/are some Ghouls form the Kings of War miniatures game.  I chopped off their hands and replaced them with  added some green stuff and some guitar string and/or chain swords and some blade bits.

I like to think of myself as being thrifty as opposed to cheap and I really wanted to add some Death-Cultists to my Radical Daemonhunters army but I didn't feel like paying GW an arm & a leg for them.

There is just something sexy about female assassins and for some twisted reason a nun with a weapon is even sexier.  So when I found these honeys (for $2.50 each on ebay) I couldn't resists.

Looks good and coming along nicely. I like the hammer...is that to autocannon magazine drums glued back-to-back?
On a side note, you do realize a new DH Codex comes out next month and some/most of those units may not be in it?
I've got 3 Daemonhosts I play every once in a while (just to shake things up). Soon to be relegated to the back of the shelf alongside LoD and Squats.

The Hammer is 2 ammo cans and a missile.

I drilled a hole through his hand and put a long pin through it as well. I drilled a little into the long handle part and through the upper fin into the ammo cans.

The arm it's self is the sword arm from the Assault Marines weapons pack.

I just love the idea of bashing your enemy into the ground with a huge hammer.

Yeah that leaked codex has me a little concerned that my recent eBay spending spree was all for not.

On the other hand a Chemira packed with Death-Cultists and Crusaders does sound like fun.
