I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about how to convert an Arachnarok into a sort of drider type creation to use as a greater demon of slaanesh or a demon prince/lord etc?

I reckon she'd be way too small- the Arachnarok (or Stupid Name Spider (SNS for short) ) is yoogenormous- roughly the size of a land raider.
It's not a bad idea though, it'd be interesting to see it done, and I bet you could find a suitable torso if you dug around.

Torso sized from gw- the soulgrinder body. The spider is as mentioned HUGE. This may sound bad but I have seen someone use a "barbie" torso to do a large KoS conversion. I think it might work in this case too. Just need some greenstuff to blend it and then obviously head/arms the standard ones would not be well at least the arms.

theres one built at my FLGS, I'll see if a KOS torso will be big enough to mount on the front.

I'd go for a soulgrinder or giant torso, looks like it'd fit a lot better than the thin waist KoS one.

FW KoS may be about the right size.
But until its released, we have no idea just yet.

Yeah, I liked "Arachnarok" too. Of course, I think my Forest Goblins will call them Ooga Boogas, since I like the idea of Forest Goblins screeching along in what sounds like utter nonsense.

I can't imagine Orcs and Goblins coming up with a name like "Arachnarok". Or anyone else in the Warhammer world for that matter.
More like "Bloody hell, that's a bleedin' 'uge spider boss!"

I realise they had to give it an impressive name, but I think it's a stupid one. (I'm also a bit leery, cool as the model is, of the inclusion of a ridiculously huge spider in Orc armies, with regard to theme. I'd have prefered a plastic wyvern. But whatever floats your boat, folks).

The KoS is a bit too small. It was in the black box this week. Its nearly the size of a land raider. I have seen it. The owner at my FLGS had it assembed about an hour after the box came in.

Unless I got one of sersi's torsos to mount on it....
