I was wonderin if orks listened to music ( i imagine they do after seeing the goff rockers) what would it be. I pictured heavy metal , iron maiden, metallica. I am such an ork

I couldn't find anything after a quick check, but I would assume they find anything that gets them krumping enjoyable. Think mosh pit, but instead of dancing, it's beating each others faces in.

In one of the Space Wolf novels a group of Blood Claws infiltrate a city that's been taken over by Orks and while the Orks are drunk and partying they hear music that was probably rock and was probably taken from the humans.

I think the only musicians that Orks would have would be like tribal drums and drunk singing so anything else is probably captured.

I don't know, thrash metal really seems like something Orks would enjoy. Just figure the music that sounds like it has the most dakka, krumpin, and bashin. Also, they've got to like speed metal, since somebody's obviously painting their guitars red.

I picture evil sunz and bad moons rolling around in on their tricked out rides listening to hardcore rap. But thats just me.

I always imagined that orks liked loud things, regardless of how musical that loud thing actually was.

Rock, metal, industrial, noise. It makes sense and it's been stated in the fluff. See if you can't find a copy of "Waaargh! The Orks." It's old, but there's a full page on music.

Traditionally, orks chant and play drums, squigpipes, glockenskulls, and squig organs. Massive ork shouting choirs (thousands of participants, sometimes, stationed in canyons for the resonance) are occasionally orchestrated by a weirdboy, either to terrify enemies or just for the hell of it.

Other types of orkish musik have arisen, as well:
-Rokk: meks record, synthesize, and mash together battle chants, grot/squig squeals, etc. and blare them out of speakers at events dubbed "Koncerts"
-Goffic Rokk: the more progressive Rokkers from the Goff klan incorporate eerier sounds into their Rokk
-'Evvy Mettal: Often recorded in gargant construction sites, incorporates more gunfire and mekanikal bangings than Rokk

There you have it - rock, metal, industrial, and noise. Not exactly verbatim, but I guarantee the accuracy of all the info, according to the text cited.
