None of the above. The 1st War for Armagedon would be awsome , some proper 40k action not like that crap "Ultramarines" film.

They can't do Macragge because it's going to feel like a Starship Troopers ripoff. Face it, anything with swarms of giant space bugs fighting guys with guns...is going to be like Starship Troopers.

3rd War of Armageddon for me. I definitely want to see the Orks fighting those pesky humies!

as for Starship trooper rip off, if they made it awsome enough, people would realize that 40k's the real deal.

Well, ST is older than 40k. But in moves they have definitely copy Imperium. And if you see ST closely, you notice that they look like IG.

I am pretty sure they will stick to keeping Abnett writing the movie scripts for awhile.

in an Interview before the release he mentioned they had a sequel in the pipeline. and they have mentioned that they won't be changing any of the existing books into Movies for a good while, since it takes alot of work to do that.

Personally, i would love to see Titanicus made into a movie, but i keep my expectations low so as not to be too disappointed if something does flop.

Well, ST is older than 40k. But in movies they have definitely copy Imperium.

Starship Troopers is older than 40k, but the Arachnids in the book were not anything like the ones introduced in the film. The Arachnids in the book were highly intelligent, wielded guns, etc. The people who wrote the original "Bughunt" script had ripped off the Tyranids for their film. When they found out the rights for Starship Troopers were available, they bought it and slapped it on their piece of crap movie.
And if you see ST closely, you notice that they look like IG.

Because the helmets they bought were cast-offs from the prop company that did them for the live action cutscenes for the early 40k games.

I wasn't aware 40k was around in the 50s.

Still, so much rips off ST that I don't see making it look like a ST ripoff is a problem. Be more worried about all the idiotic 'this rips off starcraft!' reactions.

Here is why ST is a rip off of 40k.

GW, approached Blizzard about developing a Warhammer 40k, which was still in the developing stages, video game.

GW backed out of the deal and Blizzard took some of the ideas GW had and made ST.

the ONLY reason GW hasn't sued Blizzard is because ST was finished before 40k was finalized and they wouldn't have anything to stand on.

ST, however, was based off the pre-rogue trader fluff and as such is fairly different. a incomplete 40k if you will.

Fwoosh. Over your head goes the point.
The Starship Troopers miniature game? It bombed.
The Starship Troopers video game? Also bombed.

...You do realize that the "Old Republic" shorts 'Hope' and 'Deceived' cost almost a hundred thousand dollars each yeah?

High quality animation of that caliber is never used for full on movies.
Do you know why?

It's expensive as all hell.

At best, you're going to see the level of animation from the DC movies--but they would look far too corny to the GW audience that couldn't even stomach the graphics we saw for Ultramarines.

I think you mean Starcraft and not ST (Starship Troopers). Starship Troopers has nothing to do with Blizzard that I'm aware of, and predates 40k by decades. Nor would they have had any grounds to sue Blizzard given that half of the things 40k abd SC have in common were pulled from Starship Troopers.

Also, wasn't that falling out over Warcraft/WHFB, almost a decade before?
