That sounds like a good start. Add in some scorpion swarms, and a giant scorpion or two.
Target the BSB 1st, and the general 2nd.
O&G is an army that has problems with leadership, and taking out those two guys will give him a lot of problems.

Catapults will be your biggest ace. They can force a panic test at their leadership -1, and they're only 110 points each.

I have not leafed through the new O&G book yet, but I assume the big spider is vulnerable to Tomb Guard and Scorpions, as both have killing blow.

But I don't think they have heroic killing blow which is what you need to kill monsters like the Arachnarok. They only have normal killing blow which kills infantry, cavalry and warbeasts on a 6. Also watch out for savage orcs and savage orc boar boyz because from what I've heard their meant to be really good in the new edition.

Definately go for catapults and scorpions, a mostly missile army with a few nasty surprises (swarms, scorpions) and maybe a giant will be your best bet as the orks will probably paste your skellies in combat.

Nottingham (yay!)

I play both armies, and often lend a guest one to play the other.

In my experience, Trolls are a somewhat dangerous unit on account of durability and ignoring Fear. Be prepared to make them fairly high priority for SSC and maybe take the burning chariot o' death.

Usually when the greenskin player loses, it's because an animosity situation left a unit vulnerable to a flank charging chariot unit with Urgency assist. Try to exhaust their dispelly items quickly so you can take the opportunity when it arises to break their lines with the old handbrake turn trick :3

Couple units of light cavalry can be handy for drawing out and/or shooting down Fanatics.

Agree with the above that BSB and General should be high priority. Take 'em down to LD7, and you can have great fun with Terror.

I'm fond of a mounted BSB in spear cavalry unit with the banner of small skellie unit coming out the ground. It can face off against an anchor unit that thought it was safe between pieces of terrain; move to position this turn and surround them, charge next turn and wipeout. However, that was in 7e, and playing an O&G army that didn't have an actual tellyport spell... YMMV.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Oh, and Trolls are especially annoying if they bring magic resistance. Stone Trolls are my O&G must-have for playing against TK, if only to stare down pandora's box...
