Here is my first attempt at NMM-"Earth-Sky." I think the sword may be too...animated...for Gandalf, but let me know what you think.

That sword is definately well painted. What were your blends? I'm thinking mabe an enchanted blue and space wolves gray up to pure space wolves gray and white. I'm probaly off, but I've always been fasinated by this "bluing steel" technique I've seen more of lately.

The difference between commitment and involvement is like eggs and ham; the ckicken was "involved", the pig was "comitted".

I used the Vallejo equal to Ench Blue. It went Ench Blue, 1:1 Ench blue/White, 1:1 mid tone/white. Took some playing around with. The technique is great. I'll like it more when I've mastered it, I'm sure. haha

Wow, that simple? Perhaps thats my problem with NMM, I over think .
