So...does anyone have a link/reference/artwork on the Emperor's symbol? It's referred to as two lightning bolts intersecting and clutched in a gauntlet yet other than a Custodes chestplate, I can't find a good source picture. Any links?

Right...I have Custodes models and I'm familiar with the symbol (as seen on the Custods chest plate). I'm more interested in finding 'just' the symbol so I can incorporate that into a banner. Thanks for the help!

There is no ONE symbol of the emperor, and from artwork and description each set of custodes armour is as unique and custom designed as the genetic alterations made to the Legion themselves.

The Legio Custodes insignia is a one headed aquila mixed with lightning bolts, either in the talons or crossed behind. Also usually with a skull in the center of the eagle.

While Legio Astartes legionaires are permited to wear the Aquila and Legion officers who served in the Terran Unification Wars like Iacton Qruze and Nathael Garro were permitted to wear the Aquila as well as other Astartes heroes and the Primarchs. Outside of those few the Aquila was mostly the symbol of the Custodes. The lightning bolt was also the mark of the Terran Unification Army, hence "thunder warriors", and thus the thunderbolt mark was generally born by custodes who all served in the Terran wars.

Each suit of Custodes armour and each banner will most likely have a different representation of the mix between the Aquila and thunderbolt, of course this makes any mix unique to the custodes alone as they were the only ones allowed to mix the two.
