I don't think this goes in the Army list section, seeing as that is for actual lists. But can someone suggest some 1,500 Point Mech Blood Angels Lists?

Moving to Tactics, as this is a more general list/army build question, as opposed to discussion of a specific army list.

I'll take any you have.

Assault squads in razors move fast all over the board going after objectives. The 10 man tactical is combat squaded. The footsloggers hold a rear objective with the lascannon. The sgt and meltagun go in the razorback and go middle of the board objectives. Baals either scout or inflitrate on the board. Vindicators start behind los blocking cover or in reserve. The sanguinary priests all get put in the razorbacks.
Mephiston just does his own thing and punches a whole lotta face.

Well, I'd run four Razorback squads (5 Assault Marines w/ melta in Razorback w/ lasplas),
one Librarian w/ blood lance, shield, and
some Predators (auto/las and Baal type).

Here's what I'm building towards:

This can easily play at 1750 by dropping a Librarian, and at 2000 by dropping the Lightning Claw and adding another Flamer RB squad. Another idea would be dropping 2 of the power fists and trading the Librarians for Mephiston.

From what I've seen, blood angels does do the las/plas spam as well as basic marines because all their tanks are more expensive.

That is true antbellum but they do get the meltagun and the upgraded sargent as well as a discount and fast tanks.

If you want to spam razorbacks, play SW. All other spam play BA or IG.

BA Razorbacks are better and cheaper than SW ones. You trade Long Fangs for 4-6 fast Predator hulls. I'd say they're pretty comparable, and you're looking more at playstyle discrepancies than anything. SW will be more static and reactive/resilient whereas BA will be more mobile and aggressive.

BA predators with AC and Lc sponsons being able to move and fire is just broken. Really. Especially in reserve heavy meta's / DoW style games.

BA also make the best use of the stronos style razorback (the one with LC&TLPG).

3-4 Raz Squads (with a priest or 2) and 3 Predators is an amazingly fast, shooty army which can actually assault too!
