You know, it is hard to say just how this all started. I had a client who realized that cake toppers aren't really different from minis, and he asked me to convert some zombies out of them. I still owe him for giving me the idea in the first place (I would have had zombies at my own wedding if I had thought of it).

And then, somehow, this became a steady thing for me. Here is the latest in Zombie battles the wedding cake toppers. This couple is having a rough day:

Actually had this idea for my wedding cake back in August. My idea was to have a multi-tier cake, spiral-cut (like a ramp or staircase) with a horde of zombies climbing up it and the bride and groom back-to-back on the top. Needless the say, the wife didn't go for it.

I laughed. But yea it does look like he is eating a piece of the zombie, and i suppose it's tasty.

I love that you are continuing to receive requests for these! Every time you post new ones on your site I show them to my girlfriend in the vain hope that she say "Hey! We should do that!"

So far, though, she only chuckles.

Anyway, how much input did your clients have for this batch of toppers? Did they specifically request the swarmed diorama?

I've got a friend whose decided that zombies are a litmus test for marriage. He's quite single right now.

Let me see, they wanted a bride and groom fighting back to back against two zombies, he's armed with a shotgun, she has a katana. She has a white dress, blonde hair and blue boots while he has a buzz cut.

I might have missed a little bit, but I think that covers it. I've had quite a bit of variety in the amount of input my clients want to have.
