How plausible is it to get the new furioso package and take 2 old dreads and take the faceplates off, and create all 3 of the dreadnoughts in the box?

Has anyone done this? Pics please

The new faceplates don't fit on the old Dread. Least, not on the 3 I just built. I tried with all 5 left over BA style fronts from the 6 of the new kit I built.

Crap, they really thought that one through. So my only option is to buy 3 boxes?

Pretty much or just get creative with some plasticard, GS and some files.

Given that it's the same price as a normal Dread, it's probalby better to just buy more furioso sets and magnetize the front armor. The arms themselves look like they can be magentized or snapped on really easily, and it looks like you have almost all of the pieces (minus one set of thumbs) for both the Blood Fists and Blood Talons (I dont think you need the thumbs for the Blood Talons).

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Have a look at www.Miniwargaming.com someones done it to an AoRB Dread!

"Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim darkness of the far future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods."
